I had to look it up so find out but it is because Weegies originates from Glasgow and was created to describe yourselves. Though not discriminatory it can be insulting.

Lowlanders is just not racist whatsoever much like Highlanders isn't.

I would like a serious reponse.

I see parallels between the two groups. Two offensive words, two different levels of acceptance.

I'm also making no real judgement on the use just interested to hear why people think they deserve different treatment.

Joking aside if a poster wants to filter all fans from another team perhaps they are better on a single fan forum?
