Looks pretty straight legged here.

No,no,no.. Aribo's was a nice fair tackle, nothing like Porteous'. Lundstrums's was also a nice tackle.

Is it true Rangers have not had a red card in domestic competition for two years..? Yet seen reds in four of seven European matches..?

There must be a fantastic explanation for this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Other than the obvious?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
79 domestic games for Rangers, not one red card.
Nine games in Europe, seven red cards.

Surely that can't be accurate..?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not. Rangers have had I believe 5 red cards in past two and half seasons over 37 games if my maths is right.

Think most of them have been retrospective though?! Not sure.

On the Aribo tackle-I don’t think you need to compare both. Porteous was a red, and so was Aribo-by today’s standards. They’re both red on their own merits.

Hearts should have had 4/5 more yellows than they got but ignore that.

Hard to referee games between the big two though

Thought aribo was fortunate at the game
As was Baldogan

Not seen them back though

No idea about any other game incidents

Expect the refs just prefer Rangers to Celtic
Understandable

Didn’t see our game, bar the laughable Sportscene “highlights” package. With so little time devoted to each game, why the fook do they need to show everything FOUR times?

Anyways, Bolingoli … by all accounts he seemed to have a decent enough game, but WTF was he thinking for the handball?!! Just mental that a pro footballer would do that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's had worse 'WTF was he thinking' moments to be fair.

Not comparable for anyone that follows football and had an interest in the game that isn’t a simpleton.

Clearly reasons for Aribo possibly getting a red being high foot and studs up.
Clearly reasons for Porteous was being high studs up, but also the clear huge difference in force - being excessive force. Or maybe you simply didn’t notice he flew in at speed.

I think Porteous tried to leave one on Aribo when he went in. He was over the top of the ball, and even if he didn’t seem to touch him at all, it was dangerous and a red. The height he went in at was crazy.

Aribo lost control of the ball and went in high, studs up and straight legged. I don’t think there was any intent the same as Porteous, but it was still dangerous and a red for me.

You can compare them from the point of view should they both have been sent off, but you don’t need to compare them beyond that. Can judge them on their own merits or otherwise.
