Ole’s tactical genius example #1

Maguire is rushed back from injury and is obviously vulnerable so Ole ditches two DMs that could protect him in favour of just Matic. I mean, come on, how obvious is that ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

To be honest, Maguire shouldn't really have played, behind either one or two DMs. The only reason he did was because Varane was out as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What does that say about his faith in Bailly and Jones?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I agree on that. As I've said above/elsewhere, Ole doesn't seem to trust his squad players very much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

When he first came in as manager the narrative was that he’d get the best out of the lesser players and we’d finally have a non chequebook manager who could form close relationships with the players and coach instead of buy. That narrative has changed to ‘we need to give him time to buy 11 world class players plus some more for the bench’.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was that the narrative?

And again with the hyperbole. Who has ever said he needs 11 world class players?

Moyes wasn't the answer. LVG wasn't. Jose wasn't. Ole doesn't appear to be.

Any common theme emerging guys? Roman Abramovich has made bad appointments but not 4 on the bounce.

What good is sacking managers when these clowns don't have a clue what to do anyway. Klopp was approached and they sold the club as Disneyland to him. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So we should stick with Ole then or try to get it right this time ?

Clever Son.. fair play. I hear ya. And well my personal remit was to judge him this season. Expectations have risen where they should be.
But for me, I was gonna be on him from Gameday 1 and see how we do. I’ve been supportive of him, I expected us to go up the gears.
But I’m losing confidence by the bucket load, and it doesn’t make sense how we are underperforming.
And he doesn’t seem to know himself.
This run of games we have is critical. Results are one thing, but the performances have been woeful.
I’m not accepting being 8 points or more off the top come Xmas.
If that happens, I’ll switch on him totally.
I want him to get it right. But what is happening here is unacceptable.

Just because the owners suck doesn’t mean there isn’t a manager out there who can get far more out of these players than Ole is. In the cold light or day it’s clear to the vast majority of the football world that Ole is miles out of his depth. It’s bizarre that people actually argue we can’t do better. Oslo Syndrome

No I'd like to see a major fan movement to get rid of the parasites and that would lead to Ole going anyway eventually.

If you think we won't be right back in this same spot in 3 years with the next guy then I may have some magic beans you might want to buy.πŸ˜‚

There's no PL title or CL trophy coming here under this regime. How many more managers is it going to take for the penny to drop that the issues go deeper?

Ed Woodward is being replaced by Arnold. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ We are being conned and lied to. This club isnt serious. It's a theme park attraction not a serious football club. We are Disneyland according to Woodward.
