Easy win as they have key players suspended

posted on 1/12/21

We usually seem to struggle against Hibs and Livingstone whereas Rangers usually appear to be able to see them off with relative ease.

Other than in the cups of course; but they don’t really matter.

Which key players do Hibs have suspended?

Not worried about personnel in midfield or attack, but their front two tore our two cbs a new one at times and always looked like they’d score every time they got forward. Was amateur leaving 2 vs 2 after seeing how it was going

Boyle can play.

So it will be an 'easy' win for Rangers because Doidge (a player who didnt even start when they pumped us in the cup) is suspended?

Makes sense I guess.......

What tends to make more sense is that Hibs are a side you beat time after time in the league with relative ease other than the notorious cup final and that semi the week after your manager left the players in limbo.

Christ, we even thumped them up at Easter Road a couple of weeks ago.

No excuses, especially after the most incredible of performances ever in the history of Scottish football at Livingstone this weekend.

How many of us need to go on the pitch to protect our players if Hibs win the Cup?

I had heard that Boyle was suspended. Happy to admit my source was wrong

Does he drop Hagi tonight and play Aribo wide. It's what Gerrard would have done.

If he doesn't i would assume he sees Hagi as more important

Not that I watch Rangers other than when they play Celtic but Arfield always seems to be 'up for it's aggressive and a right driving force.

Which is a fair enough opinion to have.

But I wasnt questioning that. I would say Rangers did well at the weekend but I havent seen anyone going over the top about it.

What I was questioning was the assertion why it should be easy because Hibs have key players out.

I had actually hoped it was true but in reality its one guy who has hardly kicked a ball all season.

Going to Easter Road is always a tough gig. With or without Doidge.
