think they dont have enough players.

best to cancel football for 3 weeks so that it stays fair

or let us all get on with our lives and if we get ill then so be it. Like in the old days.

Someone tell me how we ever get out this mess?

What is the long term thinking and plan here?

Sturgeon is loving every second of having powers she really shouldn’t have the final say over.

The devolved administrations are acting like independent countries. And Sturgeon and her Welsh crony Drakeford are milking it for absolutely everything it’s worth.

As much as Boris is a dangerous berk he (at the moment) has called it right imo. The data does not merit these restrictions. It is absolutely scandalous what is happening to business right now.

Sturgeon does not give two fecks. She honestly sickens me.

It's just another case of reacting too late and feeling they need to go heavy again.

Omicron is already everywhere in the community. These measures will make next to fvck all difference now as the cat is out of the bag. But hey, they've got to be seen as doing something.

I'll still be down the local for the bells on Hogmanay and will be fiestfooting and attending as many households as possible after.

Had all my jabs, done all that's been asked of me for the best part of two years now and I'll be enjoying this New Year as a result.

Mixing indoors ftw!

You say late, but deaths are down and hospitals are only half what they were in September

Instead of paying money out they should be pumping money into nhs and managing it properly

So just to be clear ... The current Covid situation is fine to be playing footie with full houses, BUT randomly from next week (when Rangers would have had back-to-back hostile away games at Pittodrie and CP) we have to play with next to no fans? Shambles. Oh, and something about sporting integrity 'nat ...

Celtic will be happy closing down for now, gives chance for injuries to clear, new players to be signed and bedded.
Open up hopefully when rangers will have players at the african nations.
Sporting Integrity nat 😁

What have we been hit with - new restrictions leaked out every 2-3 days. Nobody with the balls to give it all out in a one. Despite that most folk 'got the message' and instantly stopped most of the stuff that was a concern despite there being no legal requirement to do so. Fck knows this might not be the last lot?

We will overshoot again and these restrictions will not be lifted just like the last times with waiting until it is '100% clear', R number blah blah, don't want to return blah blah.

Let's be honest, waiting for xmas to be over is purely for political purposes.

She has made a big mistake with that. Can see a lot of football fans voting against her now.

Time to vote Green party.

Difference being that I'm talking about what IS actually happening, aye?

its not really about the current situation and whos available squad wise , it should be about fans getting into games if we can

Aberdeen had sold out the rangers game
Hibs and Hearts on the way to a sell out
the old firm is always a sell out

these games are important to the League and the people that attend

I think everyone is just so fcking done with restrictions on life , we know covid is out there . But we seem to be opposed to lving our life alongside it

Celtic Statement

Everyone at Celtic recognises the difficulties presented to society by the current pandemic, and the health and safety of all must always be our priority.

In light of today’s announcement regarding supporters attending matches, Celtic can confirm that it has today requested that the SPFL bring forward the scheduled winter break and reschedule the fixtures affected by the regulations announced.

The game owes it to supporters to explore all opportunities to maximise the prospect of all supporters being able to attend matches and support the game they love.
