Paredes is a waste of time. Features for PSG about 50% of the time, and only ever scored one league goal in four seasons.

I’ve never been massively impressed with him.

But if it meant getting N’Dud out of the club then as far as I’m concerned he’s a club legend already.

The point is, YT highlights can pint anyone in a good light.

Winks is also doing it in the high intensity of the EPL - did you see how much time and space Paredes has in France, Russia, etc….

I’m not claiming Paredes is not a good player, but I don’t believe he is a) better than what we have and b) an area of the tram we should be focussing on

I like (or liked Parades, haven’t watched him in like 3 years). Reminded me of Nzonzi but with a preference to spray it longer more often.

I agree, this sort of signing has the potential to derail our tram

I would say that Winks excels in a role where he is shielded from the high intensity of the PL, Parades would also be shielded too.
