Tuchel.
Then
Ten Hag/Poch
Forget the other two.
If there were any prospect of Tuchel then probably him, but I'd still go with Ten Hag otherwise.
Busby, I'm guessing style of football is your primary driver then?
If I were a Utd fan then I'd want Tuchel if there was any chance of getting him. Experienced in 3 of the top 5 leagues and knows the EPL. PSG not winning the CL seems to be an issue for some but he's got them closer than any other manager has.
He seems to be pretty tactical flexible and astute and if (apparently) an exceptional coach. His style is definitely pragmatic though. The only real downside seems to be his ability to challenge and then fall out with club hierarchy.
-Tuchel
- Ten Hag
- Enrique
- Potch
- Lopetegui
Please NOT another foreign manager. To do well in the PL you need to have an English manager. Someone who knows the league. Foreigners don't tend to do too well here.
Ten Hag
Tuchel
Potch
Enrique
Lopetegui
Get Ten Hag. Get rid of a lot of the older players and start a new youth revolution at United. It will take a good 2-3 years before we start seeing any real benefit and we might have to settle for Europa League football for a few seasons but im perfectly fine with that if you can see a real plan and a young team who will only get better and better.
The alternative is carry on like we have done that's got us nowhere anyway so what is there to lose?
Time to get rid of a lot of the big wage earners.

Robb’s official wish list
I put Tuchel further down because he's been unable to compete with Klopp and Pep and I don't see that changing at OT. His football bores me too.
I do like his character and his teams seem to always have a good work ethic though, and he did win a CL, so I wouldn't be upset with Tuchel.
Chelsea will be sold within next few weeks. No chance Tuchel leaves and even if he did I doubt he'd join Utd anyway just out of respect to Chelsea where he's thought highly of.
It's Poch vs Ten Hag. Always has been.

I agree with this. City and LFC look strong for a good few years yet so why not get something in place for when Pep/Klopp leave or they get a bit of a dip?
Of course though the aim should be to compete as soon as possible as well. Both short-term and long-term should be within reach if we just do things properly*
*I realise this has been a problem!
"Busby, I'm guessing style of football is your primary driver then?"
It's high on the agenda, yes. I have to go and watch and I'm sick of watching bad football, we've had it for a decade now.
I'd rather lose a game 4-3 seeing the team put in everything than see us be laborious week in week out.
But to add to this, you don't win the PL by following Pep & Klopp, winning it may be unattainable regardless but I think we need to do our own thing now and look for the next best thing.

I want to see a young vibrant attacking team that play good football, is well coached and always run their knackers off every week. We can't ask for more than that. We can't demand league titles anymore. The PL is far too competitive and we don't have Fergie.
Just to have a team that play good football and we look forward to watching every week would be a hell of an improvement.
I don't think any of those 5 will come in and have us challenging/bettering Pep and Klopp straight away, or within their first year or 2 certainly.
For that reason if we're going to give whoever we get in whatever they need, and the structure above them to succeed (the biggest ask I know, maybe with Ralf included) then which of those 5 succeeding would be the best for me as a fan? I'd go for Ten Hag. I can't stress enough how much I want to go to OT weekly and actually be entertained by the football on show.
If we had to pick one of them to come in to the current mess, with nothing changing above them, and try to get the most out the shiyte we have now with the odd big name signing and no changes to the structure, I'd go for Poch or Tuchel.

That shouldn't actually be too difficult either but some egos may have to be left by the door. You'd think the Glazers would get it by now. It's teams who win not individuals. If the team was doing well they'd do better financially too (as we all know that's their bottom line)
I think it's fair to say we are probably going to be the busiest club this summer. Manager, coaching team, whole host of player outs and ins. It's certainly not going to be dull is it?
Let's just hope the board and have finally woke up to the fact they know nothing about football and actually trust proper football men to run that side of things. If that happens and they appoint a good coach like Poch / Ten Hag then things can get better for sure. Maybe we won't win the league title in the next few years but we could still see big improvements and the odd trophy and more than anything actually enjoy football again.

Just never seen the hype about poch. Yes hes done some good things with spurs but overall he's not great and having seen him manage egos at PSG, hes defo not the man for me to lead our club tbh.
Lopetegui

There isn't a manager out there who is as good as Pep or Klopp so what we need to do is appoint somebody from the group below who best suits our club and goals. We can't do more than that.
We just need to accept that City and Liverpool sadly got it very right at a time when we got it very very wrong. It sucks but that's life. Nothing lasts forever though.
