I did exactly the same with my lad!
He’s 7. Watched the WC semi vs Italy and went to Burnley away this season and he loves it.
He asked who Spurs were playing today and I told him we could watch England together because it was on TV and early enough for him.
He was a bit gutted, as was I.

That’s not good. Basically what happens when someone l buys rights behind a ppv wall, and then charges you the earth for it. Basically free to air being priced out, you can blame the inception of the PL for that.,the snowball that kept rolling
I love my country but hate international football. Game just seems so slow and the quality lacking. Guess that's the problem with the best league in the world on our doorstep. Saying that the only time I liked it was as a kid so shame your boy couldn't watch it.

The cost of football to supporters needs to be heavily regulated and the government needs to step in to make sure of that.
From there the clubs/national teams can do what they like to secure extra funds but first and foremost the fans shouldn't be fleeced for all they're worth.
