That’s probably because he has been rubbish.

Or to put it another way…

He has been rubbish

Yeah if Ripley is saying he’s been rubbish then he definitely has been. I told you lot last summer he was sh1t4 and only looked good at a small team. Nowhere near the levels of Mahrez, Foden, Sterling or Bernardo. Bit of a Zlatan to Barca feeling about it. One of Pep’s weirdest signings like Ibra was too.

Why? What about my comment do you find so repulsive that merits such a vile response Ripley? I’m actually agreeing with you. Don’t get swayed by the scousers just cause they hate me. We’ve been getting along just fine lately. Even Boris and me get on now so let’s keep it that way.

Do I have to repeat myself? I thought my last comment was perfectly clear.

Well it’s not your article so it isn’t your place to tell me to F off. Also you can’t respond to my points because you know I’m right.

Let’s leave it there. I thought you were alright but clearly you’re not a good guy at all.

Anyway, Grealish needs to come good next season. This season he has an excuse. Next season there is no excuse.

Not trying to be combative but I don’t think he does have an excuse this season. It’s not a new league to him for example and he’s playing with much better players, so he should look better but looks far far worse.

It’s not that simple. He was the main man at Villa, he was always getting the ball and driving into space. At City that’s not the case, so he’s struggling to fit in. I think his decision making has always been a bit of a problem, at Villa it probably helped having fewer options, at City he seems to be more indecisive because he’s got so many more decisions to make.

Most City players seem to have a difficult first season under Pep. I suspect he’ll be better next season, especially when they get Haaland and he had a striker to aim for.

Grealish is a decent player typically overvalued as hes English....hes nothing special though and i wouldn't want him at liverpool....slows everything down too much

Nah he’s not GB. Not at all.

He looked good in a poor side… like Jermaine Pennant did at Birmingham. I suspect he will probably be on his way back to Villa in a couple of seasons.

He’s just a typical big fish in a small pond player. No different to the likes of Pennant, Schneiderlin, Bony and probably Ward-Prowse when he moves on. Never ever top players.

I don’t think he’s been great but I do think we’ve looked better as a team this season when he’s played rather than not.

I don’t think it helps that City don’t have a proper left back or striker.

It’s weird, is footie. At the start of the season I rightfully pointed out that City don’t have enough goal scorers to win anything and whilst they don’t, they always seem to get a goal. It annoys me that teams just forget how to defend against them constantly.

So you were wrong.

I dont actually think I am/was. The issue is teams just defend really badly against City so they score more.
