And hey speaking of lockdowns and the harm they caused, let’s take a look at a report that was published recently

I imagine people in the UK would have been better off not having all of these ridiculous lockdowns.

Get Boris Johnston the feck out of office now.And take his 30 lying, rule breakers with him.

How any government could sit on this for so long, without any action, while everyone knew he was a lying fecker. On the off chance the Met were just as corrupt.
The investigation has found/proven what was largely known. Disgraced
Name and shame them all.

Kicked the can down the road knowing Putin was gonna create the smokescreen for idiots like DRoss to shat himself behind.

It's a pitty, but the excuse will come, that with Ukraine, and the cost of living increases, a leadership change, now, would be more detrimental.

There should be no possible way the Tories can be allowed to continue with their current leader in post and in office.

TBH her maj should ignore 600 year old protocol and convention and invite him round for a final cuppa, a reaming, an assurance that he will never see the HoL and then dissolve parliament for an election. Some other cants can do the heavy lifting on Ukraine.

And tens of thousands more people would've died with our hospitals collapsing and additional temporary morgues required.

The way the Tories are banging on about Ukraine as an excuse.. you'd think Johnson is personally building the anti-tank weapons and carrying them on his back to Ukraine.

FFS any idiot can sign off on the paperwork to supply weapons. France are currently going through a lengthy election process. Parliament is not being recalled today (as was planned in the past 24hours) to discuss the current situation in Ukraine because Johnson is terrified of being embarrassed and completely destroyed by an urgent question into his lawbreaking.

It's a fallacy to suggest he is stabilising anything other than his own self interests and career right now.

Ed Davey has made a good point. Those Tory MPs who are sitting on their hands doing nothing, instead of getting rid of Bojo, are complicit in supporting lying and misleading. 👍

Aye, saw Ed Davey on the news earlier, and thought to myself that's the first time I've seen him since he became leader. Glad that he/the Lib Dems are still alive & well.

They will wait until the Grey report comes up which is an end to the newsworthiness of this.

Boot him then and have a new person to lead them into the election.

Makes sense if you think like them. Party first.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye they won't pull the pin with elections weeks away.

Apparently Parliament was due to he recalled over the Ukraine War and chemical weapons being used in it, but now they've ditched that plan as the Government knows they'll be destroyed over this partying.

So now the Tory argument that Boris Johnson is required to lead us through the Ukraine War is completely torn to pieces as he's actively harming our ability to discuss and make decisions on it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who claimed chemical weapons have been used by the Russians?
The Azov Regiment of the Ukrainian Forces - look them up - they are a bunch of neo-nazis. Actual proof that chemical weapons have been use by the Russians has not been forthcoming.

However, don't forget that Ukrainian intelligence were boasting a couple of weeks ago that 2 Russian soldiers died and another 28 were hospital after being given 'poisoned pies by Ukranian civilians'. What's the difference between deliberately poisoning someone and a chemical weapon?
Is targeted poisoning a 'smart' chemical weapon?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Civilians is the key word there, Tully.
Oh and could you remind me who TF is invading who's country?

The only thing these parties proved was that society would have been better off without the lockdowns.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally. Some good old-fashioned common sense amongst all you sheeple and snowflakes.

posted on 12/4/22

Azov isn’t a neo-nazi brigade.

It was a militia lead by one and populated with many more than was taken into the Ukrainian army under new leadership then purposefully diluted. Textbook handling of a problem situation.

Ukraine is a country with a tiny portion of neo-nazis, one of the lowest prevalences in Europe. Its a problem manufactured by Russia in an attempt to create a cover story.

There’s a documentary on iPlayer about Azov worth a watch that will provide better detail.

Russia however does have an issue with neo-Nazis

Are we to assume then, that all of the medical advice the government sought was wrong?

The only thing which prevented C19 from having a bigger death toll, was the early roll out of an effective vaccine.

So much so, the headlines now appear to only be what impact this has had on a fragile economy.

There is plenty literature on managing pandemics. None of it says to ignore the spread and continue mixing in larger groups. Would be madness to suggest otherwise.

Lockdowns did not cause more damage than Covid

You've no evidence for that baseless claim.

Aye but the trump supporting Committee to Unleash Prosperity think lockdowns were a bad idea. I for one am shocked, shocked by this revelation brought to us by comrade myfinger.

He's an embarrassment to Britain.

Bojo is power driven so he will cling on as much as possible. In the coming weeks we will see more fines (maybe for him and his cronies) and the full Sue Gray report. The council elections in May will give the Tories something to act upon too. Bojo might not have a choice after that.

Uh yes I do. I posted the link earlier.

Just because you disagree with it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

Poverty > Covid

Getting trump supporting economists involved in papers about epidemiology, the science of pandemics and actuarial mortality and morbidity impacts isn’t quite the slam dunk you might think comrade.
