Thought we were much the better team although Chelsea had a couple of chances and a few periods of possession. We should have won it in normal time but penalties makes it even sweeter.

I have to say, I thought you were the better side. I’d put my money on Sadio doing the business, but you shut him down each and every occasion.

I detest -penalties, I hate them. There’s no joy in winning for me, at all. Better to share the cup for the next year.

The fact that Mendy got a pen save and his hand onto another 2 is the victory I’ll take from this final.

it was over when we lost to Real tbh.

Been on the beach since

Caught Liverpool on a off day. No way they miss all those chances in any other game. We were as good as we usually are in these big games and as wasteful as we always are. Big chance missed.

Also agree with the comments about time wasting from us. Mendy must’ve wasted 10 minutes of the game with his goal kicks. Also disappointing we settled for penalties early in ET when the game was there to be won.

Don't agree that we settled for penalties early in ET. That is like saying Liverpool settled for ET for the whole of ET.

Players on both sides just exhausted. ET is a pointless exercise in games and shd be scrapped.

We did all the attacking in first period of ET then flagged

Don't forget the extra time applies to the fans as well, I must admit that by the end of 90 minutes, me and mine were all completely exhausted as well !

And more often or not ET is a bore fest watching tired players let the game drift to penalties because they have npthing left to give. I would rather team go flt out for 90,

I'm still tired today ! those few beers I had last night, might be something to do with it though !

Have got to admit as well, the end of a hectic season ,exhausted players, and extra time !
It's something that must be looked at by the FA .

Normally those same players would be expected to turn up in two week and perform for England in a WC......its a joke

It is the curse of chasing league, FA cup, CL, league cup etc.

We should leave the fa and league cup alone next year and play kids.🤔😂

On another day, Chelsea would have scored or Diaz would not have hot the post....but, as you say, a very long season.
