Why is this conversation even happening ?
Boateng played for Bayern for 10 years. He's German. Of course he is going to say "! think Kane would be a good fit for Bayern" you know, at a time when he knows their best striker is leaving.
It really is a no brainer. Exactly the same as Neville coming out with "I think Kane should go to Utd"
Again, in the famous words of Mandy Rice-Davies at the Profumo trail "well he would say that, wouldn't he"
Why do people give this type of cr*p credence every time some ex footballers with an agenda towards his ex club as obvious as a runaway train, comes out with "I think so and so would be a good fit for my old club" everyone jumps up and down.
Not to mention we should all now be fully used to
( and therefore not surprised ) that Harry Kane is, and has been for two years, every pundit or ex players "go to" player to buy.
Come on guys, this is not news. Boateng obviously knows he's old club is losing their CF and is, firstly telling everyone who HE wants to replace them ( his opinion is about as relevant as mine in the Bayern board room ) and secondly he is earning a nice little fee for his "story"

It’s all the media mate
More chance of seeing a Varpool player sent off, rather than let off with it
To think this was credible enough to make an article about is just absurd. It's just the ramblings of a former player. It's like Paul Merson saying "Arsenal should just go out and sign Messi". It's meaningless. He wouldn't even move to Spain let alone a second rate league like the Bundesliga.
Not even a story.

Steve v Ted. You love to see it
Kind of makes sense for them if Lewandowski goes, although I don't think Kane would be as clinical as him. Whether Kane would want to is another matter. There are more plusses for him going to PSG than Bayern i.e. working with Messi, Poch etc. and being closer to home.
Even if Bayern have a bid accepted I can't see Kane moving to Germany. I love him but he seems like the kind of guy that goes on holiday to a place full of English people and eats only English food while he's there. No way is he moving his family abroad and learning a new language.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which is crazy really when city spunked 100 million on some nice hair
Kane was top scorer and assist last season and once he got over his tantrum this season has shown his class again ….was worth every penny if grealish is 100 million
He will play at a high level for at least 2 more seasons too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's scored and assisted more than KDB again this season, despite not bothering until November.
i suspect Kane has no interest in leaving the prem... he wants that record

Do you think he'd want to break the record over winning some silverware abroad at a big club though?
Now that top 4 is practically assured and assuming we spend a bit this summer and keep Conte, I don't think we have to worry about Kane, but had we not got top 4 it could have been another story.

The fact that Kane seems like he wants to stay in England is a massive plus for us. He would probably only go to Man City or Liverpool, doubt he would join Chelsea. So unless they pay what Levy wants we're golden. We may lose him on a free in two years time if he doesn't sign a new contract but I could accept that after what he's done at Spurs.

I'm sure he wants to stay in England ideally, but if it came to a choice between being guaranteed winning something at a big club abroad and staying to break a record while chances of winning a trophy are unknown, then it's harder to say.
Thankfully we've got top 4 so I believe this won't be an issue for now.

I wonder how he would react if Spurs actually accepted a bid from a big foreign club. Maybe he would be brave enough to step into the unknown. Knowing his professionalism and hard work as well as phenomenal ability he would probably succeed almost anywhere.
By the way we haven't got top 4 yet! We still have to actually get the result we need on Sunday.
