Many years ago I was in a telephone conversation with a German equipment manufacturer. He told me they had offices in Vandsvort. Where I asked, he repeated Vandsvort in South London. Penny dropped, so since that time Wandsworth has always been Vandsvort.

No season ticket for me. Work doesn't allow me to get to most games unfortunately so im stuck here on JA606.

Will be doing prediction league again for those interested.

Definitely want to be involved again Banno, looking forward to predicting more wins than I did last season..

I went to quite a few away games last season and hope to go to more this season, if I can get tickets, so my contributions to the match thread will probably be of the belated match report variety. For the far flung ones I might even make a weekend of it though some locations are more appealing than others in that regard. I have a feeling that we might have a similar season to our last one in the third tier, of which I have very fond memories indeed.

Previously it was Croxteth - a dodgy suburb in Liverpool where Wayne was born.
About seven and a half miles from Scouse 👍
