If we do somehow manage to bag FDJ and a quality attacking player (ideally two if Ronaldo goes) the 'in' list wouldn't look too bad but the club needs to pull its finger out very, very quickly.
A bit skewed considering the window is still open and you've strangely added a player we haven't signed to the in list and one we haven't sold in the out list.
The Fellaini window was probably the worst one. The players were always going to have a post-SAF slump and refreshing the squad would have helped. We got one player

I think it is, especially when you consider (a) how much advanced notice we had of the mass exodus and (b) when you add the loss of Greenwood to the equation. The Henderson loan was ill-thought, esp with DDG entering one of his low-confidence spells. The FDJ chase has been comical, as has the general theme that every prospect must have an ETH connection.

Doesn't it kinda depend on what players arrive and leave between now and the end of the wundow?
Deliberately tanked last season in December so that we could plan ahead and funds would be kept for the summer window

Even as a hypothetical, it's just so hard to judge until we see these players settle.
Remember when Vidic and Evra arrived, that would likely be considered the worst winter window ever after 6 months. It turned out to be probably the best.
On paper, you "Ins" would look quite uninspiring... No big names at their peak. But you just never know
Davies, Dier, Sessegnon, Doherty, Kulu, Bentancur, Kane, Son & PEH all improved massively under Conte’s coaching = Champs League
Not saying there’s anything wrong with signing new players, its part of the game… Just saying its not the be all & end all….. which seems to be the issue with United. Nobody in that squad has improved in the past 3 years and your solution to everything seems to be … “Buy him, hijack their deal”…. Just seems like a complete lack of strategy.
Spurs have made plenty of transfer mistakes….getting the right manager & having a clear strategy will outperform reckless shopping every time

That said, it would still be a huge risk... We don't know where his head will be at if he returns and the away crowds (and maybe some of the home crowd) get on his back.
I imagine he'll go the way to Ravel Morrison.

There’s a backlog of 60,000 active cases, never mind the CPS being able to deal with getting new ones to court.
Even serious sexx offences are taking well over a year to get moving.
The delay with Greenwood’s case doesn’t signify anything in terms of what the police and CPS may or may not have found. It’s just another case the victim is going to have to wait months or years to see in court.
UK justice has as good as ground to a halt.
