Missed the game, just caught the highlights. Clear red for Sands and that's one that surely VAR would correct when it comes in. Just one of a few points in the game where the ref was overly lenient for both sides. That said though, we absolutely demolished them and it could have been a lot more than 4. Colak is on fire just now and if that sort of goalscoring form continues through the season we have a real shot at the league. The pace Davis showed to get there for the last goal was unbelievable, not many 37 year olds will be able to move like that.

The game was a stroll as these games should be. We should have scored a good few more but football isn’t like that.

At the time I thought both Sands tackles looked like clumsy coming together. seeing it back it seems we cashed in our Get Out of Jail card early from last week.

Completely confident we would have pumped them with ten men though. They offered nothing.

Our third goal was a thing of beauty

As much as I like Sands...the guy walks a tightrope in every game he plays

If he isn't making clumsy challenges and risking red cards (risk being extremely lenient in terms of yesterday as it was a clear foul)....he's giving possession away in very dangerous areas

So far, he's got away with it....every single time
Can't continue living this charmed life, things will come home to roost soon enough if he continues down this road

Hope not, but every single game that he's played this season, there's been something of his own making happen that could put us in real trouble, and he's got away with it

My thoughts too.

He should have gone but you’d have been as likely to have won 4-0 in any event.

They were truly awful but you can only beat what’s put in front of you.

I’ve been impressed with him, he’s been great in big games like during the week against PSV.

His ability to play out from the back made a big difference in both those PSV games.

He was left on his own for most of that half with Goldson running up the park, and was clearly lucky, but other than one other short pass almost putting us in bother last week can’t mind any other clangers

He was put in danger by the team and particularly Goldson playing so far forward, but when he's playing that covering role he just can't get that tight to the forward. If he's backtracking at all he has to drop a little deeper while the ball's in the air and challenge it on the ground. I'd fancy his chances of getting a tackle in or at least holding up play long enough for support to get back in those circumstances far more than I'd fancy him to get a decent clearing header while backtracking. You just see the defenders losing out so often in those circumstances, especially when they're not significantly bigger and stronger than the forward.
