You joke, but I've spent all morning thinking it was a 12pm kickoff and just found out it isn't
As much as I would love to see us winning today I am struggling to see it. Everything seems to point in Celtics favour today.
Celtic are in great form. Yes they have played some pretty poor teams but they are poor teams we dropped points to last season.
Celtic undoubtedly have more goals than us in them middle to front. Kent and Wright look like they could play all day without troubling a goalie. Tillman and Colak, maybe Arfield if he plays are our main chance of grabbing a goal. Lawrence being out is a big big blow. He’s a very good player with a bit of dig about him.
We have half a dozen first team players missing which we could really do without. All this couples with the home crowd makes Celtic significant favourites imo.
Rangers do have a chance but 3/1 isn’t far off it imo. I didn’t expect us to beat PSV away but we pulled out a top performance. We would need to pull out a similar performance today to nab a win.
I’d very happily take draw right now👍

Tilman right with Davis and Kamara central it is. Surprised at that as expect Celtic to have more possession being at home.
Bench doesn’t look great for us bar Morelos, and Arfield always turns up in these games.

Said last night Rangers might win by scoring first then playing cautious / on the break. If you get out with a draw all good.

Davis over Jack/Arfield is the big call. He’s the one I would pick usually but away here…need to have plenty of the ball for him to be effective.

Only change I would personally have is Jenz for Starfelt but totally understandable why he's gone with Starfelt given he's got a season of these games under his belt already and would be potentially risky throwing Jenz in.
Only concern with Starfelt is he can be bullied.

That’s our strongest line up. Glad Abada is in instead of Meida. Our bench is strongest it’s been. Very pleased with squad. Rangers starting 11 looks defensive to me. Will be a good game I’m sure 🍀
Mad we have 6 injuries, and of those you’d expect Davies, Lawrence, Hagi and Roofe could all be seen as starters or game changers. Never mind Souttar/Helander would’ve been ahead of Sands till a month ago if not injured too.

Could be entertaining if we manage to get a couple in front and he's brought on to 'save the day' - pelters from the crowd, Bernabei probably on by that point and giving him some SA 'culture' sledges...
Just realised Matondo isn’t even on the bench, what a waste of a signing when we already have promising youngsters
First time I've watched the match build up...nice to see the early arrived fans exchange pleasantries....
