I listened for 30 seconds and heard at least two mentions of the word dictator, or dictatorship.
We don’t live in a dictatorship.
Well yeah, that bit isn't accurate but the rest of it is bang on. Shame you've got a TikTok attention span
What a load of bullshiite!
How think it compares is ridiculous!
"The elite know that they need him(the monarchy)".
And the bit about how the media has to cover it favourably otherwise they would lose legitimacy
the reaction to this on twitter shows people don't care about FACTS, just whatever panders to their feelings.
If you don't like the Queen/Monarch just say so and I can respect that. No need to misrepresent them.
btw, not a fan of the monarch, just dislike lies even more

It’s nothing to do with attention span.
The main premise for the recording is completely inaccurate and therefore it’s a completely pointless tweet / article.

Making that point is somewhat different to comparing the UK to North Korea as you have over this past week.
The bit about where it says something like ‘this is where the money goes that could be spent on improving living conditions for the population’ is pretty accurate.

False equivalence is an informal fallacy in which an equivalence is drawn between two subjects based on flawed or false reasoning.
At best it was a poor attempt to be funny. Hearing certain people agree with the content of the video to push their agenda is just wild.

irrespective of anything else this piece of work shows how the media slant on things can influence people.
If the full on hard core propaganda/wall to wall one side only stuff wasn't going on... well.. would the crows be as big?
I have no idea but i have a feeling that the sense of cannot miss shuffling past a coffin is a bit of a hysteria.
there was one clown on one of the channels last night who was banging on about there will never be another queen or something and in his snow flake voice whinging about how hard it was and then the camera are actually on the guy and he sauntered past the entire sense and didn't even look over at the coffin!
if there was no 4.5hour coffin following by helicopter form Balmoral, all to all life of queen and that, would there have been a huge crowd in Edenborough.. who knows.
what we have right now is an exceptional bit of pageantry 2 days ago that everyone was filming on their phones not watching live, followed by massive crowds and wall to wall coverage driving yet more to swell the queue to the point of suspension lest they "miss out"
It really is quite bizarre in some ways and touching in others and shameful in others (lack of manners over markle, shouting at the disgraced one etc)
oh and another thing... the amount of people saying there will NEVER be another 70 year monarch.
i don't get this as part of the FOMO. its all hysteria.
the conditions exist today to have this very thing, all you need is the king to die before georg is 25 and william to do likewise.
elizabeth II ascended the throne aged 25. not exactly youngest ever monarch in history.. she lived to a very decent age but not a record one for modern medicine
As i said, one way or the other the blanket coverage and one sided push is driving this to the point of hysteria. as if the same corwn is not going to be put on charles head in another massive pageant next spring when the weather is nice and that there won't be yet another fabulous pageant to make william formally the heir.

The crux of the financial side of the debate. Would be a complete guess and comparisons to France are just not appropriate.
Go do some number crunching and projections big man. 😂😂

Isn't £100m just the sovereign grant? Doesn't include travel, security, refurbishment of property etc. as far as I am aware.
Back to the original post: I realise it's meant to be funny and you can argue that my comparisons between us and North Korea are hyperbolic, fair enough, but when you watch that clip the only definitely incorrect part IMO is the 'dictator' line. The rest of it is definitely applicable to both - that's why they've created it.
North Korea is safer than London.

Luckily number crunching and projections are my job 😃
First point, the inclusion of the net income from the crown estate. This is a business of managing the land. Were the monarchy not a thing the business would still run. We just have to look at the reasons for growth in net revenue given;
“Revenue has increased year-on-year primarily as a result of three factors: an increase in offshore wind operational capacity and the impact of higher electricity prices from offshore wind farms; one-off income from customers seeking to exit leases early; and increased mineral extraction.“
Literally none of that has anything to do with there being a monarch, it’s a land and asset management company.
