..and a Labour government would sort it out? 🤣🤣🤣
No confidence letters are worthless for a year anyway. She’s safe from any votes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Having read their ideas, looked around me at the absolute mess we are in and discarded any tribalism, Labour is the ONLY party that have a hope of getting us out of this hole.
The nationalised clean energy company meaning permanently low bills and never return to a war mongers whims destroying our economy is a game changer for me
I hope there are less people like you around. Those who just subscribe to the sun and the mails view that however bad Tory leadership gets, it’s still good. It’s not. There is simply no defending the tories after 12 years. They have to go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The real beauty of the policy is that it won't really cost us anything.
We pay for all the infrastructure already, through seed money and tax write offs, or in the case of the new nuclear power plants being built, directly added to consumers bills so the energy companies don't pay for it themselves.
It's about giving the taxpayer equity in the infrastructure they are already paying for, and he needs to roll it out further, HCA funded new build council homes are paid for 90% by the gov, and 10% by the company that will eventually own the property, that 90% is written off over 100 years at a rate of 1% a year, and is interest free.
We pay for the homes to be built, then allow privately owned social housing companies to rent them out and pocket the profit. It's all a long con..
Rails too, we the taxpayer fun the maintenance and building of the rails, tunnels, bridges, stations.. all the franchise's do is employ people to collect the ticket fees.
It's all a rip off.

They walk among us Smeg.
They don’t care if they’re sitting in the dark and cold eating thin gruel because “imagine how bad it would be under Labour”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This 100%.
One of my elderly relatives is a widow who has barely got a pot to pi$$ in, but she's always read the Mail and wouldn't vote Labour if her life depended on it. It's mental.

This is true but my point is people voted Johnson in with a massive majority and this has led now to truss taking said majority on for the next say 2.5 years
exaclty the same as electing trump in the US, logically what happened next was a free for all for interests. The next consequence is democrats putting the safe non socialist old white guy whos very doddery up to gain enough votes.
If people select on credibility alone the mogg's and johnson's and truss's wouldn't even be MPs never mind running the country. given people have not and don't seem inclined to change we cane expect more of the same
She’s actually a lot worse than Johnson.

Boris thought he had worst PM in living memory nailed, but he cannot even get that right
It’s frustrating he didn’t make it to the next election. Truss burying the Tory party may not mean much if she’s already buried the country.
