I didn't think McGregor was a red, when you compare it to the one Sands got away with against Ross County not sure how anyone can deem that a red especially with Welsh covering

there is no doubt that CCV and Starfelt being out is a massive blow. Perhaps Ange and or the players are far more wary of committing bodies in numbers and at pace without the same assurances behind them?
I thought it was a clear red IMO last man and Welsh wasnt close enough IMO. Calmac thought it was red also and his first action was to have a go at Hetate rather than be upset about the card, he knew he was walking for that.

Maybe technically not a red but if it was against you you'd want it shown. Few complaints. If anything credit to him for having the nous to take one for the result.
No way Morelos is starting at Anfield in front of the guy in possession and on fire.
he fully made the foul thinking he was the last man but I think Welsh would've got over to cover
it's hard to play the style we do every game and especially coming off the back of an intl break, we went through periods like this last season

IMO its a no brainer.... Colak feeds on chances he is as good as the team you put round him.
He will be isolated and chasing the game against Liverpool its not his game at all. Morelos would be the far better choice for that game by a mile.
We will need a striker that will take the heat of the defence and midfield and thats Fredos game all day long.
Alfredo still our best striker IMO.

this is what its gonna be like for the rest of the season pretty much. no breaks and no let ups (other than the world cup obv)
we'll only have 3 or 4 players at the world cup
Maeda

O'Riley?
Hatate?
CCV?
then we'll strengthen again in January imo

Disagree and you will be seeing the pool fans mostly saying the high line and fragile defence is there to be got at. If you sit in, leave one up top you will get beat. If you have a go at them you have a chance while they are fragile. That spells Colak.

high line suits Colak also, he is quicker than Colak.
We will have very little of the ball, it will be a 30-40% possession stat if we are lucky! our best bet will be firing the ball into Morelos to stick and then exploit the space behind the fullbacks and Alfredo will do that far far better than Colak.
high line suits Morelos, sorry
and we wont have much of a choice but to sit in , they dominate the ball.
all of Liverpools trouble comes from counter attacks, catching their fullbacks out of position and leaving huge gaps in the channels, spaces that Henderson and Fabinho dont seem to be filling this year as they did in previous years

I would certainly start Morelos against Liverpool, but what do I know, I'm not even sure what day the game is on

I think yeez are all getting carried away with buff scoring against Europa cannon fodder, taken in by his doctored instagram pics from the gym and let the international break have you forget what a shambles he was.. GvB hasn't started him yet and shown reluctance to even bring him on. I just can't see him risk having two pashed off strikers in his squad when he is not expected to win in the first instance. All I am saying is read the gaffer, not history.
Sounds like the Op made assumptions about the Celtic game.
Rangers beat 10 men Hearts and suddenly Kent is on form again.
Celtic beat Motherwell 2v1 but had chances to win it 6v1. Score the chances and you wouldn't be saying Celtic are struggling.
Seen this script before with Rangers putting a few past 10 men and the headlines are about how amazing they are.
I'm happy with where Celtic are. 1 defeat in the league in a year and it was a poor performance.

Disagree, I dont think were talking about Morelos a being more of a goal threat but more useful in a game we wont dominate the ball and create as many chances.

I thought we started well, took a two goal lead and played the rest of the game in 2nd gear. We were decent, not great. red card killed the game. Said Kent was far improved from previous games, he scored very good goal and got an assist.
I didnt say Celtic struggled, I said they didnt play with the same swagger and confidence that they have shown and the tempo was noticeably lower.
I would be happy to be in Celtics position too.
