Just a fun comparison
Obviously Haaland’s size and strength would have seen him score a hatful in either era.
Greaves was the last player to score 40 goals in the top tier at more than a goal a game when he played for Chelsea.
41 goals in 60/1 at his very peak
I wonder if Harland can do the same: fewer games and he has a history of injuries

Fair enough. His dribbling on poor pitches was superb.
And unfortunately there is not too much footage of him at his very best at Chelsea
Haaland easily. Greaves played in an era where players had a Sunday roast, 4 pints and smoked pipes at half time. Put haaland into that era and it would be like watching one of those black and white films where the frame rate is cranked up too fast. Plus, greaves played for spurs, so can’t have been that good.
Just imagine greavsie against that United defence

It was actually three. You cannot even get your best ever players record right. Obviously none were won at Chelsea. They only started to win trophies when they became financially doped.
Luckily Jimmy had the sense to leave Chelsea. He didn't fancy playing 2nd division football. And elected to join the Champions.

Greaves by a countrymile is better than that lump at City.

Oh and he also won a World Cup Winners medal whilst at Spurs.
I can’t begin to imagine the devastating effect being left out for the semi-final in 1966 had on Greavesie, and then the Final of course. England’s premier goalscorer, the best striker and probably the best footballer I’ve seen, he was still tearing them apart long after the World Cup. At some stage in the late 60s it all went downhill. Whether it was his move to West Ham or a fall out with Billy Nicholson I don’t know. I remember all this going on, but, unlike today, we didn’t all have the immense news coverage of events.
It turned out favourably for Sir Geoff, and the England team, naturally, but many of us still feel Jimmy should have been in that team at Wembley against West Germany.
I watched City as we managed to shut Greavesie out at Filbert St in 1969 just 3 days after the Cup Final. Previously, only Shilts prevented him from murdering us at The Lane in 1967-and then there was the “Jimmy Greaves 3 Leicester 2” epic in between. I saw them all and I’ve never feared anyone with the ball as much as I feared this fellow.
Reintroduce this one in a year or so when we’ve all seen a lot more of Haaland. He too is also tearing them up need I say and what a star he is.
