Aye, we badly need a win tonight … and badly need Jota to be fit to give us a decent chance, I think. Seriously need to rediscover our sharpness around goal. Our chance conversion rate has been ludicrously poor for a while now. Could do with Jenz instead of Welsh alongside CCV as well (I’m assuming Starfelt is still oot?) 🤞

welsh was hung out to dry last week, not a fan of his tbh but i don't think he was at fault for their goals.

I fear we are in for yet another disappointing night.

Just can’t see where the goals are going to come from with the pitiful wasting of clear chances recently and the midfield looks disjointed in front of a makeshift defence.

Too much reliance on the “special atmosphere” to pull us through.

Not at all ginge just pointing out when a few injuries creep in and angeball is just scraping results due to professional fouls and st johnstone player playing hopscotch the big man has a wee moan at the schedule.

He was on saying he was short of match fitness then didn't start against St Johnstone so would be strange to see him starting tonight

IMO we need someone in there protecting the centre halves especially with how much space Nkunku was finding and exploiting

Agree, but can't see it. Ange doesn't seem to believe in DMs. CalMac has kinda been playing that role, although he's never an orthodox DM in a million years. Crocked for a while, and we have 4 actual DMs in the squad (3 of whom are fit) ... Ange doesn't start any of them at St J, with all 3 on the bench. I'd have Abildgaard in there even just to add some much needed height to our team of oompah loompahs.

I don't think we need a DM domestically but knowing we had this game coming up I found it surprising he didn't start Abildgaard to get minutes in the legs
