I like scottish football as it is

Quite like the set up we have its not like we will compete in europe anyway

Cincinnati Bengals are worth $3Billion.
Dallas Cowboys are worth 8Billion.
According to Forbes.
Not as egalitarian as you suggest.

Certain clubs will always be valued more than others. Doesn't mean they can't receive the same financial payment's!

It all depends on the set up, a number of divisions, fair payments, relegations back to their national leagues for the bottom few sides and being replaced by teams from that country or a sort of coefficient which determines which nations get promoted into the bottom tier.

Some way of making sure the numbers for each country are reasonably consistent.

No 12 teams from England and 1 from Hungary etc, it needs to give the former European big names chances of getting back to that. Clubs like Ferencvaros, Steaua etc.

Is there any info on the proposed new set up?

If I was doing it. 3 leagues of 18. 54 teams.

For instance

League A
4 English
4 German
4 Spanish
3 Italian
3 French

League B
2 English
2 German
2 Spanish
1 Italian
1 French
1 Dutch
1 Portuguese
1 Belgian
1 Scottish
1 Austrian
1 Serbian
1 Norwegian
1 Turkish
1 Czech
1 Ukraine

League C
1 of all the top 18 nations.

Some way of relegation to be worked out.

I'm pretty sure there won't be any relegation or promotion.
Think it'll be a franchise league with a very high buy-in like American sports. Which I mentioned here years ago.
I'd say close to a billion for a franchise. Who would pay that on a gamble your relegated?

The big considerations for me would be 1) if any competition was to replace the existing national setup or run alongside them 2) If all countries are part of or chance to be part of it 3) If there is to be any regionalisation 4) How are any attempts at levelling up going to work?

#4 the most important - see if as the current CL form, it is just a front for the big country teams to enter and win every year then it is a waste of time and they can fvck off - sorry Fash but your proposal panders to these cvnts, is boring as fck to anyone except these clubs supporters and gullible Asians and merely ensures the status quo remaining.

I don't expect the maximum $ leverage either hence why I said earlier the levelling up has to be up front and proactive discrimination or the project won't work. I accept Quebec's point but 3bn vs 8bn - I think we'd be on the right tracks if the least valuable clubs were worth 40% of the richest - a damn good start! It will take time hence the 'prize' money pyramid perhaps needs inverted?

I'm just talking out loud. There's a unique chance to forge a new direction that needs vision. If RM & City just want to win every year then they can just carry on with their boring as fvck monopoly. I expect Ivan along in a minute! No really, that's what Scotland is in microcosm and we are too powerful.

It has to be franchised & no relegation because it will be too big to fail and clubs could not sustain a yo-yo.

Back when I predicted a franchised league I also said the DoF thing would be much more popular.
Like the role of GM in American sports the "head coach" tells him where he needs to strengthen, the GM hands him a list of who's available. They work together.

Oh oh. I just wondered if there would be a draft?
Oh and cheerleaders. Nasty cheerleaders like the Raiders used to have.
Back in a bit. Just remembered something.

In my pants.

Fit. But not that bonny some of them.

And I say that with all the confidence of a chubby, bald 45-year-old.

I'd like to add that of the 50 U.S. states only 27 of them have teams in the NFL. I wouldn't be too sure about Scotland getting a team. Unless as someone posted earlier they give special dispensation to clubs with a good history in Europe. But I really doubt 2 Scottish teams would get in.

Oklahoma, and Alabama have college programs that would cut into any NFL expansion into those states.
Amongst other states.
BTW how does Scotland rank in Europe compared to how these states do in U.S. A country of 5 million will not have 2 teams in this Super League. Doubt even one without some very wealthy people behind it.

Wtf is actually wrong with you? Do you actually have some kind of mental problem or are you just an absolute attention seeking melt?

Apologies if you're genuinely ill but I think it's the latter.
