Wtf are you on about? He’s one of the reasons we’re not in the bottom 3 FFS. No English player in the entire premier league has had more involvements in goals since Aug 2021, he’s been outstanding for well over a year.

Actually Kane has had 37 goals and assists to Maddison’s 36 goals and assists since Aug 21 - but I take your point.

I am sure there are plenty out there. Maddison is just flavour of the month, just as Bissouma was last season, and he has hardly shone at Spurs.

Maddison is class - he has 1 less goal/assist than Harry Kane since last season and Kane has just made his best ever start to a season. Maddison has done this in a struggling Leicester side.

Better and Prem proven - KDB, that’s about it at the moment, maybe an argument for Bernardo Silva.

That is terrifying, Zaniolo has 13 goals and 6 assists in 3 and a half seasons in Serie A - admittedly he is injured a lot, but that in itself is also a major problem.

Totally agree but that ship has sailed. We should have signed him when he was at Norwich. He is exactly what we need but I fear he'll end up at Newcastle

I think we'll end up with the Ukrainian guy Atalanta, He's near the end of his contract, seems to have fallen out with the manager, is cheap and Conte and Paratici know all about him. Seems a talented guy and should give us something different

All this stuff about "Spurs should be aiming someone better" is just nonsense.... That hasn't been the way we have operated for about 30 years.

In the best side we had in a generation, under Poch, I think the most expensive player in that team was Son @ 26mln (and nobody had ever heard of him)

I have no expectation of Levy allowing Conte to go and blow 150-200mln in a window but as long as we are smart and address our issues... Both WBs, a CB or 2 and an attacking midfielder i'll be fine with it. We have plenty of talented players, our problem is that we have an unbalanced squad..... Too much deadwood in defense, not enough creativity in MF and too many bl00dy right backs
