havent watched a single kick of the world cup

but from the results i dont think there have been any upsets

Thoughts? But you have provided nothing to back your claims and dancing around it.

While i disagree with things in Qatar, there is a lot of hypocrisy going on. Bribing, match fixing, no alcohol, anti-LGBT are all things which exist across Europe.

I’m not dancing around anything, just calling it early.

Let’s see how many more “interesting” results and decisions there are.

If you’re referring to the Argentina SA game, nothing looked fixed for me. I didn’t see one contentious decision, Argentina were whack going forwards.

15 mins extra time second half. Not what you give if you’re trying to have SA hold on for the win.

Unless you’re suggesting Argentina threw the game?

If anything was fixed it was to keep playing until Argentina score

If they wanted to fix the match in Saudi Arabia's favour, they could easily have not given Argentina that penalty.

Argentina are pretty corrupt, but I doubt they fixed this match.

Argentina got a penalty and 13+ extra minutes to score. This corruption at Qatar is getting out of hand. I know they have beef with Saudi, but it is criminal to give Argentina so much time to win.

Even with corruption Argentina should be able to beat Saudi Arabia. The penalty they got was the same thing that wasn't awarded to England and all 3 goals were correctly ruled offside

There's only so much officials can influence the game in football. In sports like basketball it's far easier to make game changing decisions.
