I'm happy for you CBG if this is your best WC but it just hasn't done it for me.
Itallia 90' and Roger Milla was a great summer for me.
Maybe the timing of the tournament or the fact the quality seems low to me but I'm hoping it gets a lot better before it's over.
I didn't think Japan/Korea or South Africa were great tournaments. First one I think the time difference was a factor for me personally. South Africa I blame the Jabulani.
Yeah France 98 was awesome. Bergkamp's goal, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Zidane, the emergence of Owen.
Quite enjoyed USA 94, bar the final. Baggio was terrific in the knock-out stages and Romario was great to watch all tourny.
I am really enjoying this World Cup. I have seen more games than I have in any other.

It’s been a very good World Cup so far but has there been more shocks than usual?
Other than Morocco, I’m not sure there are any surprises in the last 8.
For nostalgic reasons 82 will be memorable. Watching Eder and Zico play the type of Football I had never seen before. Plus there was Tardelli's celebration in the final, and the Italy vs Brazil 3-2. I think because of the format there were some dire games as well. Austria vs Germany being one of them.
I’ve also seen every World Cup since (and including) 86. I remember 86 quite well, but not well enough to say how great it was. My personal favourites are USA 94 (weird, I know) and Russia 18.
USA 94 was awesome. Baggio, Romario, Stoichkov, Hagi, Diana Ross, Bulgaria beating Germany, Ireland beating Italy, Romania beating Argentina in a classic, USA beating Colombia and getting through the group… Let down by a poor final though.
This one has been very good as well so far.

Hard to believe that I watched France beat Brazil in 86 and reach the semis. The next time they qualified for the World Cup, it was as hosts in 98 - and they won it.
Putting the morality aside it's been a much better world cup than I'd expected.
Stadiums are stunning, the football has been good and there have been some decent upsets.

Geoff Hurst, won the final on my 21st Birthday
Which is only the fourteenth time I've mentioned it.
