Nicely and slowly...we are making a comeback
I am pleased you beat financially doped City, and put that lump they have up front firmly back in his box.
it's crazy that anybody doubted ten hag would improve United. you just had to watch Ajax play for like 15 minutes to see it. who knows how far he'll take them but the floor is already so much higher
tis a great result - and a pretty good performance to boot.
defense did very well, and the midfielders just basically swamped the superior opposition midfield with energy and numbers.
Still suspect the league winners will be MFCF, but this result has, no doubt, begun the process of cementing second place and, at least, made chasing city a realistic option. And that is at least something to cling on to - although I'd rather rely on capability than hope.

I’ve been impressed, and surprised, how he’s turned this squad around, especially as their confidence was on the floor. That’s been the biggest improvement, rather than how well coached we are.
Any coach that comes in and says he needs at least 3 years to get the team playing needs to be booted out that very moment.

There’s no reason to think we can’t put in a title challenge. We have the most in form striker in Europe, a world class midfield and the likes of Martinez and Wout to come in. If we beat Arsenal I’ll believe.

That’s obviously part of it. But I think ETH has obviously shown really good management with how he’s dealt with all the issues this season. Ronaldo and Sancho being two good examples. Good coaching without the ability to manage the group and lift their confidence is limited. That’s what’s impressed me most as I’ve always known he’s a good coach, but managing this group of players at a club like United is a different thing altogether.

Poch and Conte are also great coaches. My point isn’t necessarily that Ten Hag was the best option. More that after Jose we should have gone out and got a great coach.
