Shame we can’t just pay West Ham a premium to buy Rice now rather than in the summer. Would solve the problem.

Bamba is very, very inexperienced (30 senior appearances), in a secondary league and playing CB this season. Would you gamble the title on Partey staying fit and Bamba coming in if he doesn't?
Hope we buy both tbh, Bamba can be back up to Saliba as much as to Partey/Caicedo.

We are 5 points clear with a game in hand. Targets should change from the start of the season after hitting 50 in 19 games.
This will be our best chance to win the league. To gamble it on a kid with a handful of DM appearances would be a massive risk.

Emile Smith Rowe is OUT of Arsenal’s FA Cup fourth-round tie with Manchester City due to a thigh injury picked up during training, but it is NOT thought to be serious, with his absence from the squad described as precautionary. Mohamed El neny is also longterm injury.
Its so refreshing to see we are active in the market and trying to sign the player/s in intention to win the league. It's been long time we are in this position and should capitalise on this.
If Caicedo is going cost in the region of £70 odd millions, is it worth testing the water with WHU for Rice?
If they both cost similarish whom would you pick? Is Rice really good as some making out? is the price high inflated because he is England international? thoughts?

what the heck? Raise your standards for the club, we are The Arsenal, one of the biggest clubs in the country.
We should not be settling for top 4, with 5 points ahead of 2nd with a game in hand, we are in a great position to win the title. It will be harder next year with Man City, Newcastle, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs all improving.
I doubt we offered £60m but if we did I hope we don’t go back with more. We can do better for less.

We should not be settling for top 4, with 5 points ahead of 2nd with a game in hand, we are in a great position to win the title. It will be harder next year with Man City, Newcastle, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs all improving.

I feel we are going to finish 1st or 2nd now. Would take a combination of a serious dip in form and a big jump in form from Utd or Newcastle to catch us. We only need 30 pts from 19 games to reach 80 points.
