I know right.

Can't believe that some people at COD when they could just fly to Ukraine instead...

Mattyp are you our resident racing gamer? Someone on here loves their racing games. If so is VR racing something you are tempted by?

To me racing would be the best use of VR. Problem with most racing games is a lack of peripheral vision (unless you go for a mega triple monitor set-up, but not many have the cash or space for that). VR solves that and would feel more natural, especially if the sound is directional.

And whilst I can't say as I haven't tried, I imagine there would be minimal motion sickness from driving in VR as it's pretty analogous to what you do in real life. Walking in VR will always be weird as there's a disconnect between what your eyes are seeing and what your body is doing. But in a real car you sit down and move so it's basically the same in VR.

OH yes Hobo, cheers for that. I knew we had a racer, couldn't remember who. Are you going to be checking this out? Sounds perfect for you.

Oh I might add. The advantage VR has over any monitor system is the perception of depth. It really is like watching another car as you race them.

Nothing to do with Gran Turismo. But an interesting hint at the power of PSVR2.

For those interested in the inner workings, Sony have showed a teardown of PSVR2 and the controllers. you will need to turn subtitles on unless you understand Japanese.
