The issue with Levy is not how he runs Spurs as a business, he is a very good businessman and has done a very good job of maximizing ENIC`s investment, they are an investment company after all.
The issue is ENIC`s business like approach to running Spurs is not conducive to building a title winning team, ENIC have taken the football operation as far as they can, they are now raking in so much money from the stadium etc, they do not need to push on the football team, they still make healthy profits with or without CL. They invest into the team at a level to keep us there or thereabouts, but not enough to really push us on.
ENIC`s priority is business first, football second, which is why they need ousting.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's business first because the business pays for the football.
Check out our commercial revenue 5 years ago and what it is now. It all fees in to the club and football.

Chelsea’s only problem is they have the wrong manager in place, Potter is a good manager, but it’s a bad fit - been saying it for months now.
They need an Ancellotti, someone who can manage big names and big players. Someone who can whisper in Auba’s ear and get him firing again, someone who knows how to get the best out of Koulibaly.
As for Spurs - under Enic we wound spend enough in a single window to have a competitive season that ends in a major trophy. People harp on about Arsenals young team - but Arteta spent £200m + in 2 successive summer windows and the board were ready to back him with another £100m this winter. Spurs bought Porro on the never never and loaned Danjuma.
We have two shots at a trophy - 1 the Qataris come in and we become the new City/Newcastle
2. The FA Cup draw continues to be unbelievably kind to us this season and we somehow drag it over the line.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Away at Sheff Utd isn’t that kind, proper banana skin that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree. Need full strength for that one. I don't want some of our supporters saying rest players.

They`ll likely win a trophy before Spurs do though, Levy is trophyphobic and the latest nonsense they put out in response to the THST just proves where their priorities lie, profit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This. It’s hilarious watching them still be dog tu rd, but guarantee Chelsea win a trophy before us. #EnidOut #LevyOut
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don, nah they are finished now. Once the Russian crook did a runner that was them done for. Their business since then has been awful, and that is why they are so low down the table.
Boehly is a completely useless owner, and will bankrupt Chelsea. Which wouldn`t be a bad thing.
They really are on their way down now. Not before time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And you try to tell me your comments about Chelsea are reactive. You know I don't believe you and it doesn't take much research to tell me I'm right about you - you just can't help yourself!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Brummie, just my opinion of Chelsea as it stands. No insults, just facts. Are you seriously saying you are happy at the way things are going after your club has spent £600 million in six months, and are likely to be bottom half of the table come the end of the weekend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely I'm happy, because we're not buying Jose Mourinho ready made, functional type players this time round.
This isn't a side being built for today, it's a team being built for years ahead, it's obviously escaped your notice that every player signed in January is between 20 and 22. In 90 minutes last night I saw Fernández show he's already better than anything you have in your central midfield.
Last night you witnessed a team with 6 young new players taking part along with important players coming back from long term injury - no way would I be expecting miracles from them.
Far from being unhappy, I'm really excited about the future if this crop gel. The only negative is we haven't got a striker who will regularly get goals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely no guarantee any of the youngsters will make it. Big gamble.
Bentancur is quality in our midfield, so would beg to differ on that one.

Bentancur is criminally underrated, I would take him over all those players except, possibly, Fernandez but only because of the hype, not because he’s proven quality - got sold for about £11m nine months ago, a reasonable WC and Chelsea paying silly money for him doesn’t suddenly make him world class.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I will cede to your superior knowledge on Bentancur Ace, as you’ve obviously seen more of him than I have, all I’d say is when I’ve watched him he hasn’t particularly stood out to me.
I still say, I’m happy with our central midfield, it’s, in my opinion, the area we’ve been strongest and carried us for a while now. Our Achilles heel has been creating goal scoring opportunities, I’m hoping the signings in January go some way to redressing that.
With regards to Fernandez I’m not saying he’s world class, far from it. I’ve only seen him once for the first time on Friday night (I purposely didn’t watch the WC) and considering it was his first game with a new club, team mates and in a new country I was very impressed with his contribution and think he has the potential to be a very good player for us given time.
Good luck for the rest of the season Ace, good talking again!
