We definitely played a bit differently! Far more controlled than when we played them at their place.
Conte will be ragin' getting shown up by his understudy...100% record?
Same team as Conte would have picked in all probability. Main difference is all the silly mistakes were cut out, other than a couple of reckless tackles from Romero.

Same team, but very different approach.
The Conte haters will get their dig in
If the players follow Conte`s instructions and cut out all the stupid mistakes, then results like yesterday are possible.
It`s why we need more consistent and better players in certain positions, to execute the plan. The tactics have never been the problem, it is the individual errors that cost us.
It all boils down to having a good enough squad to handle a busy season, if players are rotated and kept fresh then mistakes are kept to a minimum. Better footballers also allow for a tweak in tactics, for example our right hand side now looks potentially formidable with Kulusevski and Porro, which should push the opposition back and create a different dynamic etc.
We need this all around the pitch, the problem though will be Levy, he always leaves us short.
Mistakes are part of football..... Its how 90% of all goals are scored !!! No point banging on about them. The difference with yesterday was that while it was still Conte's team and formation it was the approach was different. We played on the front foot and pressed the ball far higher up the pitch than we have this season. PEH & Bents played like Box to Box Midfielders and were much closer to the front 3. It meant Kulu, Sonny and Kane got the ball in better areas with more support around them. Being higher up the pitch meant we weren't always inviting pressure on to our back 3/5. That meant the likes of Royal simply had to focus on defending which he did a brilliant job of !
Yesterday's game was won in the central areas... It was "Conte Ball" without the "Conte Hand-break".... Exactly how 343 should be played..... Well done Mr Stellini
If Conte walks this summer.. Give the job to this bloke... Seems to know what he's doing..... Tired of all the "Big name, big mouth, big ego, big resume managers"... Lets just keep shlt simple and focus on the team and playing well
Yep, let’s not forget Martin Jol was assistant to Santini, and he came in and did a good job for a few years, nearly got us our first season in CL if it wasn’t for Arsenal poisoning our lasagne

Arnesen wanted Jol to have the job in the first place, but Levy wanted Santini.
Stellini is just implementing Conte`s tactics, all the subs etc will have been done via text message. Stellini is just the number 2, suggesting he should take over from Conte is laughable.

It would give continuity and I would rather him than Mason.
My comment about Stellini was a bit "tongue in cheek" BUT..... It's interesting to see what Spurs capable of when they put their mind to it.... We saw it yesterday and we've seen it on multiple occasions this season having to make second half comebacks after dreadful 1st half's
We all know Conte is defensive/ pragmatic coach & let's be honest the last message the players get before every game is from him.... Granted I'm not a fan but I can't help thinking someone with a more positive approach could get more from this team.... We don't lack for talent
