but the fact that perez is so comfortably sitting in 2nd shows the car is stupidly quick. cos perez is nowhere near the quickest and is driving a car not set up for him.

Rosberg had to beat hamilton in a car that wasnt designed specifically for Rosberg.

aws…

Anyone else feel it ruins the thrill of a race for fans?

Senna, Shu and Max. In that order right now. Lewis I would put behind Lauda and Prost and then it gets close. I also think, having followed F1 since Graham Hill was racing, to see such all-time records being broken by such an incredible driver/team makes us very lucky people! Those who claim it is 'boring' should watch Coronation street, no one ever wins, and nothing ever happens!

Boring might not be the right word but it’s definitely predictable and whilst some of the racing behind Max has actually been great to watch, the predictability of Max charging off into the distance to eventually take the chequered flag does to a degree, spoil the race. I’m not just saying that because it’s Max and I’m not necessarily a Max fan, I’ve felt the same way when it was Michael/ Sebastian/ Lewis dominating

Alfa Romeo livery for Monza is super phat

Stroll 20th whilst Alonso was 10th in Q1. He's gone so far backwards recently. Wonder if his wrists have never actually recovered.

Yes, apart from two years ago and also when it was Rosberg versus Hamton, every other season has just been so predictable. I think the sport needs to find away to become more evenly competitive, not sure how it does it though

The only way to become evenly competitive is to stifle the top teams so much that the other teams can catch up. I am not sure if thats a good way to approach sport.

A while back the Dutch were dominating ice skating so much, that there were genuine calls to remove ice-skating from the Olympics. It is so fecking retarrted I dont even know how to start criticising that kind of rubbish.

You are just parroting Toto's words, which have been disputed by Max and Horner. Not that you would change your mind about it. But RB build the fastest car, and the driver has to adjust to it.

Anyway, no one will ever admit on the internet that they got it wrong. So Ill leave it at that.

Anyway, Sainz on pole, because they turn up their engine for quali, but the Ferrari clown show will guarantee a feck up tomorrow.

He is genuinely such a trash-tier driver who was carried by the most dominant F1 car in history.

A travesty that he even has a single WDC.

We will do a poll to find out then.

See what the people think.

I think Rosberg 7 wins in a row against hamilton in car that was designed around Hamiltons driving style is more impressive than Verstappens 10 in a row. I think its more of a challenge.

I have admitted to getting it wrong plenty of times.

Im judging the driver alone.

yeah you could say that redbull as a teams achievement of 10 in a row is more impressive than Mercs 7 in a row.

But to me on pure driver level Rosbergs achievement is better cos it holds more merit with the competition that he is up against.

and they dont just build a car and let the drivers adjust. To suggest that shows lack of understanding.

Max prefers a pointy front end, a car that will slightly oversteer more, it tends to be quicker but also more difficult to drive that way. Perez prefers a slightly understeer car, he drives a bit safer which tends to lead to him making tyres last really well.

That current red bull is a front end dominant car, that is slightly oversteer based. Why wouldnt you design the car to suit your best driver (and most likely the best on the grid). That would be logical.

there is no wrong and no right its a matter of preference.

You prefer that Max won 10 in a car miles better than the rest, suited to him with a no2 driver who is miles off his talent level.

I prefer Rosbergs challenge of doing 7 in a row against a proven elite level driver in car that wasnt primarily designed for him but equally just as dominant as the current red bull

Ok, so you know better than Horner then.

Why would they build a car only one person can drive in a team of two? And if Max walks, they have two cars no one can drive. Yep, logical.

they haven't built a car for only one person to drive, they have built a car that favours one driver to drive. thats what I said, so thats what I meant.

You plan to get the most out your team and the most out of possibly the best driver.... why to maximise points and to keep that driver sweet. Max is going nowhere that car will continue to be developed with his preference and whoever is no2 needs to accept that, until they get a driver who is similar ability to Max and that might never happen.

I imagine I know better than Horner about somethings in life, and he knows better in other walks of life. What in particular do you suppose I know better than him?
