There will be an empty seat in the South Bank this afternoon where my mate should be.

RIP to a proper Wolves legend.

What’s so bad about it? TBH, doesn’t matter who is up top it doesn’t feel like our striker will score. Hopefully Neto makes up for lost time. Cunha and Traore on second half to give them something different to think about.

I've been accused of making rash comments, but seriously cinci, are you putting a trophy ahead of Premier League football?

For a start, we would lose our better players, plus the revenue will hamper our efforts to attract good players to replace those we lost.

Stay off the Sake and raw fish mate, it's affecting your brain.

As for the team selection I don't think we had a choice when it came to a striker. Hopefully Costa will do better than what Jimenez did in the last game. Also shows us that Ait-Nouri is behind Jonny in the full back starting position. Sorry cinci!!!

Still waiting for our first shot at goal.

Hanging on for a nil nil from about the third minute.
Lucky to still be in it. Surely we can’t be this bad.
Looks like a lot needs to change or we will be in the mire.

Worrying times for sure. New manager bounce well and truly run its course. We need to freshen things up and retain the ball second half or we are just waiting for the inevitable Spurs goal.

Agreed Boston, Changes made a big difference. Didn’t like the starting line up at all.

How do boys

The difference in the two halves is that we switched to 3 at the back 3, a system I've said for a long time now suits us best. Traore in the right place and took it well. Game of two different halves. Well done lads.

Jimenez had a real impact today.

Just twelve points off the Champions League places, we couldn’t….. could we?

Great result today. Thought we were poor in the first half and rode our luck quite a bit. Sa kept us in the game at times, but we stayed in it.

Questioned Lopetegui at half time when he brought Lemina off (who I thought was our best player in the first half and had Kane in his pocket). The tactical changes worked though and we came back into it second half. Shows why Lopegetui was Spain and Real Madrid manager and I'm watching from the stands.

Jimenez was like the Jimenez of old today and was unlucky not to score. Thankfully Wolfie had to see him in a Wolves shirt again.

Traore showed why he is such a frustrating player. Was pretty poor for the first 10-15 minutes of the second half and really static off the ball. Then as we grew into the game became more confident and involved, created a few chances, scored and probably did enough to compete got MOTM.

6 points clear of the drop zone now. A couple more wins in the next few weeks and we should be pretty much safe.

And it’s 18 points. Obviously if it was just 12 points we would do it easily

Jimenez didn't start Bombolino did he? He did better today but he's not the answer up front and neither is Costa.

Very pleased for Traore, as he was in the right place at the right time. Still like to see him given a chance as our central striker. He's very good in the air and with his pace would scare quite a few CB's. I'd also like to see us play 3-5-2 more often, as it certainly worked as the second half went on.

Looks like DJ was right about Raul returning to form. He looked more like the player of two years ago today, and he was definitely in contention for my man of the match. 👍

Holy kerrapp, did not see that second half performance coming at half time. First half was pretty rough to watch, but credit to JL, made the right changes even though I thought Lemina was our best player in the first half. Spurs didn't seem to be able to adjust to the tactical changes, maybe due to Conte being absent but our approach to the game changed completely and it rattled them.

I thought we were the better side second half, just, had good chances to grab the lead, Semedo and Jimenez before Adama smashed it in the top corner. Subs were superb, Raul, Adama, Moutinho in particular, and Jonny had his best game of the season for me.

Sad to see Costa go off though, I hope I'm wrong but that could be the end of his career.

Agreed. Best performance from Jimenez this season. Was surprised he didn’t start. Traore’s goal was taken very well. Said to the chap next to me it was as well he didn’t have time to think about it. Give him two more seconds on the ball it would have ended up in row Z.
