BBC can’t recover from this unless they have a major overhaul in how they’re run. Such a shame but then again not surprising with the way this country is run

Well I suppose it had to happen sooner or later, just suprised it was a single tweet from Gary Lineker that kicked it all off.

Their bias towards and pandering to the Tories is now undeniable.

Well Johnson has lied and misled Parliament for fun, but it was him supporting a nonce that brought him down.

I thought it was pretty depressing to be honest. MOTD is one of the only programmes I watch these days.

There are lots of people on Facebook and Twitter though saying it was a breath of fresh air. But then most of these are of the type who seem to want the UK to be as shameful and joyless a country as possible.

Just need to bring back the commentators and the extended coverage instead of the 4 minute highlights we got last night.

Bin the presenters and pundits as they don't really offer anything that enhances the football.

Listening to the usual diatribe from the right wingers about how the short highlights and no commentary was somehow an improvement on the original was just laughable. They claimed that proof of ‘improvement’ was in the ratings figures rather than having the basic capability to recognise that the ratings were a consequence of curiosity and not quality. Dikheads.

I actually preferred it with no pundits or commentary. They just come out with the same boring lines each week. It was refreshing to just watch the highlights.

No I just don't need pundits to make watching games more interesting, which is why I prefer watching games live rather then on TV.
