Soyuncu

Brendan Rodgers played Amartey instead of Soyuncu. That tells you all you need to know!!!! He was immense today and great to watch. I don’t think he’s totally cut out the errors I’m his game but seeing him back to his best was a relief and something we can build upon.

It’s so refreshing to see a manager really up for the challenge and wanting to motivate his team for all the right reasons. I totally agree that the team full of strikers experiment should be consigned to the bin and we should look to build on the second half of this and the Man City game as the blue print going forward.

All our best play seems to be coming with two up top. Nacho and Daka could be the way out of this.

Massive massive game on Tuesday!

Congratulations on ensuring your survival today which with the class players you have was obvious and I fully expect your boys to beat mine comfortably unless Gracia is sacked before next Tuesday and unless Everton somehow inexplicably implode it's almost certain after these latest results Southampton Forest and Leeds will all get relegated this season.

I don't really care who goes down apart from

A - it's not us
N - it is Forest

That should have been B.

Amazes me that the fraud got away with it for so long. Anyone who thinks that Daniel Amartey is a better long-term, first choice centre half than Soyuncu is an absolute moron. It's borderline professional negligence from Rodgers - and incompetence from the board for letting the farce run on for so long.

And yet we'll still have to endure his supporters telling us how Rodgers would have definitely kept us up. It'll take him failing at another of the 'big' clubs before he is treated with the contempt he deserves.

Thanks for the sentiment, but I don't think you'll find any Leicester fans who think we've ensured survival - far from it. The fans have been a lot more switched on to our predicament this season than neutrals, the press, and even the club hierarchy. We know we're far from being 'too good to go down'.

With the points and fixture situation as it is, I think it'll be Southampton, Forest and one of Leicester, Leeds or Everton. Our next 2 games will go along to deciding who it is. If we beat you on Tuesday, I think that gives us a >50% chance - if you win, it's probably 25%. Personally I'd prefer to see Everton drop, for the simple reason that it would be quite funny

How would Leicester fans feel if Leeds sack Gracia tomorrow or Monday and announce Brendon Rogers as our new boss?

I think Leeds fans would mostly feel really hopeful and encouraged but as you have experienced his methods and seen disappointing results I suppose you don't miss him but I think he might just have gone a bit stale and a new fresh challenge would reinvigorate him and his new team will benefit.

Brendan Rodgers is completely ill equipped for a relegation fight. To be fair to him, he's never had to deal with one before but he's shown with us that he's just not up for it or able to deal with it.

After every defeat he looked completely lost and just kept repeating, we'll be fine, we'll be fine. Even though it was glaringly obvious we were not fine and were not going to be.

If you're pinning your hopes on Rodgers keeping you up, you may as well accept relegation now.

That said, I cannot see Rodgers going to a club like Leeds. He's an elite manager don't you know and he's probably sitting by his phone right now waiting for the call from Spurs or Chelsea.

To be fair Soyuncu was awful this season when he played.

That's because he had Daniel Amartey playing next to him and I'm a better footballer than he is.

From a Leicester perspective, I wouldn't really be fussed. I don't think changing a manager again would give you that much of a boost, as the issues with your defence can't be fixed with only a few matches remaining.

From a more general perspective, I genuinely wouldn't wish Rodgers, his planet sized ego and his coach load of sycophants on anyone. The way he wrecked the ethics and morale of the club this season has been one of the most disgraceful acts of self-sabotage I have witnessed. Any success a club may have under him would be short-lived and then destroyed by him. He was a toxic influence on the club and, whatever happens to us in the last few weeks, I am just so delighted and relieved that I never have to care about what he does or says ever again.

That said, him and Spurs feels like an absolute match made in heaven.

Interesting to hear your perspective and I now understand why you guys weren't too upset when he left and I think the Leeds job like you say wouldn't probably interest Rogers unless we are taken over by new owners with very deep pockets.

I think Hassenhutl is a more realistic option and he is being mentioned on twitter land as a short term desperate last attempt by Leeds to somehow get a tune out of our players...we will see.

You definitely dodged a bullet not getting our ex Marsch to take over from Rogers as he would have almost certainly got you relegated and Smith seems a safe and competent pair of hands.

Yes I think Spurs too but I'm shocked at how badly he is thought of by you guys... it just shows how different and wrong a neutral fan can see things.

I actually rate Hassenhuttl as a manager and coach but I’m not sure he’s a short term fix it manager. He has a style of play and if your players aren’t suited to it it will take time to implement.

As for Rodgers, I wouldn’t wish his disgusting ego and ability to convince all around him that he is the god of all coach gods and that all should love him, including the media, is vomit inducing.

His arrogance and inability to adapt his style to get the best out of the players in front of him make him so restricted as a coach, and his ego makes him extremely dislikeable as a human.

He also has terrible lips.

I’m also glad I’ll never se whom near our club Al ever again. He destroyed what could have been a good leg Andy with our club through pure arrogance.

Nothing wrong with Dean Smith, did a very good job a Villa and will imo keep Leicester up.

Good run of fixtures coming with so this win will be a massive boost. 2 wins and a draw should be enough.
