So he plays a style of football completely unsuited to your current squad, won’t get backed in the transfer market and won’t get the time needed to coach the bus parking out of his players. What could possibly go wrong

I don't want him to leave Celtic, he's the most aggressively, "we never stop", attack-minded manager I think we've ever had. IF he chooses the poisoned chalice and gets a month or two, I'm confident he will have most Spurs eating out his hand with both the personal and professional, he's a good guy.

All that said, I hope you're all gonna end looking like mugs. He knocks you back, stays with the Champs and rams some of the critical words back down some spursy throats by taking the Super Hoops to CL glory.

His trophy cabinet is bulging, yours isn't!

Top article. Like his attitude

posted on 2/6/23

There are some decent vids of him giving team talks and comes across as really well. Loves attacking football and even admits to not liking defensive tactics.

Like most progressive managers like Slot it does worry me abit but lets see if he backed with the right players.

Is he any good from a tactical point of view?

I'm sure he could do a good job at Spurs, I suppose as with any other manager we'd appoint at this time, it's whether they are given time and patience to get the ball rolling in the right direction, given there is a lot of house to get in order.

Haha love that interview. He was getting properly grilled and was only a youth team manager!

Because for 5 years you have been a counter attacking team with no ball playing midfielders and no defenders (or GK) capable of playing out from the back

Don't worry, under Lennon we had no tactics aside from 'go forward' and get a good swally after the game. Ange turned it round in months.

His tactical changes are very subtle. Nothing that seriously disrupts the general pattern of play.

Whoever comes in we'll need a new GK and CB (Lenglet and Romero have their faults but they can definitely play out) or two anyway. You'd think some kind of attacking mid (to go along with the very good ball player but currently injured Bentancur) would also be on the list for any new manager that isn't a caant.

There's nothing to say this lot couldn't play decent front foot football

Anyway. All this will be pointless when we hire Big Sam

My only concern is, what if he says No after he meets with Levy on Monday...... wouldn't be the first !!!

How has he done in Europe with Celtic?

Personally think that moving to Spurs as it is currently would be a bad move.

Doesn't really matter about Europe seeing as we are playing there next season. Joining a mid table club in the prem is a good start for him.

Hopefully, it should see the end of Hojbjerg’s career at Spurs, but we have plenty of ball playing midfielders. Bentancur, Bissouma and even Lo Celso and Ndombele would fit into this category. Arguably Sarr too. With the exception of Bents, all of them struggled in a counter attacking team (and Ndombele because he’s fat and lazy).

A progressive manager will get a tune out of most of these players though.
