I use NewsNow set to Leicester City. Leicestershire Live has loads of adverts, so it is very clunky and difficult to read.

Quite often also see News first on postings on this forum

I doubt it Warwick. It has been a very noble effort by you over the years to maintain such a meticulous venture and I commend you for your outstanding effort. I think it was a case of, perhaps, just one prediction too many for me to want to become involved, however, if I found you were ‘wanting’ through a shortage of volunteers, I may step into the breach.

You may have heard the sad news of the passing of Chris Garland in recent days. I saw him playing for Bristol City once, but never representing City.

I find FoxesTalk is a good place to start as it’s the biggest active forum.

Yes, sad news indeed about Chris Garland. Saw him play quite often back in the Bloomfield era.
Got a feeling I saw him play for Bristol City against us at Ashton Gate in about 1969 or 1970. A 0-0 bore draw.

Garland was one of my favourite Players at the time under Bloomfield.

Interesting that he broke a fellow Players ( Jeff Blockley ?) Jaw in training after punching him because he felt he was being too rough with the Apprentices,
