The one huge difference I'm clinging to between 2004 & now is we have a manager who has won this league twice before, & not a Kevin Blackwell.

That said, we still need 5 or 6 signings.

We're only making plans for Gnonto, we only want what's best for him.

I used to be in band in Halifax in the 70s & 80s and XTC were our heroes. In fact, NME referred to us as: '...a low-flying XTC'. We also met them backstage after seeing them at Knickers nightclub in Keighley. A really friendly bunch of lads, particularly Andy Partridge, who showed us how to play some of his strange chords.

Some of XTC's stuff was wierd, I bought drums and wires but it was trashed by some of my Uni flat mates (long story, Dave W will always be held responsible). Never replaced.
Also trashed my 12 inch version of Atmosphere now there's a record.

Being from Brighouse, Keighley was too far to go drinking but it certainly had a reputation for being lively. And as a nightclub, Knickers was a star that shone briefly but very brightly. I also saw the S@x Pistols and The Motors there.

Was that the time when the S@x Pistols got done because off their fans puking and pissing from the balcony?..

Had a few punk mates that were there to, I was and still am a metal fan, so I left them to their own thing!.
