I didn’t get the hype around him, if we get 25 m will be happy with that.

Spot on. Have said on other threads, he only looked half decent because the rest of our MF were so dire.

Finding players who can break up play, admittedly at a very good standard, is not so difficult. Finding players who can create and finish is. That's where the money needs to be spent.

Just to add aswell. I believe he suffered a similar severity tear in the hamstring (requiring surgery) that Phillips had and we can see how much he has struggled to get back to prior levels. If we get the £20m thought ot be the release clause trigger then get that money spent asap on some additions. Imagine if he had stayed and got a reoccurence first game back.Adios!

The sooner players are shown the door the sooner Farke will know who he has left, and I think things will be getting done to bring a few in to replace those that are no more!..

Farke will have a good idea as to who's going so hopefully the club are talking to the players he wants!..

Adams is no big loss as others have said. I'd rather have our £20m back in exchange tbh

posted on 18/8/23

People saying he's no big loss but his injury was certainly a factor in our demise last season.

My word this squad is beyond threadbare.

posted on 18/8/23

If he wasn't injury prone I would be gutted

But he is and I'm at a stage now where the likes of him,Sinisterra, Cooper, Bamford... There absences just cause us problems in consistency

23m plus addons according to Phil Hay. Hopefully we have identified replacements. It inspired by Kamara to be honest.

Not*

Kamara would be decent I think.

Will kick off at ER tonight if we lose.

You have to question what is going on in Adams' head, USA captain Bournemouth it is hardly an upwards career move.
If I were to give him a bit of advice, make sure you sign some kind of exit clause in the event of relegation.

^^^

I believe he's been sold a vision by Bill Foley (an
American Billionaire and sports owner). And Foley
wants the USA captain at his club as it becomes
something altogether different to the club we knew.

Foley is ambitious. Better than that, he's not one
of those owners who talks but never backs it up with
action. Two years from now BAFC will be looked
at very differently.

Saying that, I wish Adams well (just like Jack). But,
as many have said, he's not a player who we can't
replace. Take the 20+ and reinvest quickly. Please.

Ireola being very reserved in his comments.
Hope Adams doesn't flunk medical today.

Release clause ran out. We’ve asked for more money evidently. Or maybe a Snickers plus £20m. Who knows with our negotiating?

So LUFC we’re correct in saying they hadn’t triggered the release clause. Bournemouth thought they had but obviously not.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Championship club hemorrhaging players and at least two who aren't training cause they want out and probably a bunch more who want out too.

Or a decent premiership club that is well run. Add to that if he plays well it's not like Bournemouth could stand in his way if a big club came in with silly money.

I honestly don't know what to tell you if you don't think this is an upwards move for him.

or he holds on for a club that will help his career progress, do you see Bournmouth being anything other than relegation fodder?

He can do better.

So we can finally spend some money then. Embarrassing from us and Adams. Thought he'd have more ambition than that
