269m if you include Lavia. Nearly 300m on those three. Must be close to a billion on those 3 if you include wages and fees.

106.8m + 115m is more than 211m

Chelsea are a clown show. Glad the Russian leaving has exposed them.

It is pretty funny. I don’t even think these are bad players. They have just been thrown together far too quickly. It’s a merry-go-round down there. It’s kind of like throw enough money and hope that something sticks.

Seeing as Lavia has been mentioned, at least he hasn’t missed or conceded a penalty yet.

I have to say however, I’m not quite sure how £269m is “close to £300m”, or that those three players will earn over £700m, even taking “fees” into account.

It's actually 284m which is close to 300m. You're not sure because you're starting off on grounds of little to no knowledge whatsoever to begin with.

One hasn’t even kicked a ball yet
One has had 30 mins
One has been their best player since signing, and everyone is writing them off

At least give them a season to work with each other and their manager who’s also only 2 games in

If it is £284m then why did you say £269m?

I just don't get how you can pay so much for players who have proven so little.

Think £100m for someone like Rice is reasonable given he's been class in the prem and for England for a few years. Half a season in Ukraine, half a season at Benfica and a year at Brighton...£300m. Madness.

💯
Rice has got to finals in europe with West ham and England. He has proved it in prem so you can argue his price tag though I think it is prob 20 mil tpp much. But the guys chelsea have bought for thr numbers of games they played is crazy.

They may come good but is insane.

Saw this on Twitter. Quite funny

Chelsea have spent £952.8m since Todd Boehly took full ownership in May 2022.
Since then, they've managed 11 league wins.
So far then, that's £86.6 MILLION spent PER league win.

Because there was an error in the OP which has since been corrected.

Why should we give them time? Lavia was instantly judged as a quality signing by Chelsea fans on here without kicking a ball. It works both ways.
