Well done to Gauff, great performance
I like Sabalenka but what was that MTO all about. She was moving, serving and hitting fine in that final set.
Today it had no effect, but there are definitely days where it shifts momentum and infuriates the opponent.

That seems 2 have been tactics
Hope nit n is not nice too accuse of that
I've never really been able to warm to Sabalenka to be honest. It was crazy the amount of errors she made today. She was defintely feeling a lot of pressure.

Big difference in likabubblity between em
I think it was definitely a tactical MTO. She’s been quite consistent, won the Australian, Semis of Wimbledon and Final of Wimbledon.
She’s having a weird interview. Seems like the Joker movie.

Must b difficult doin a interview in foreign when u on verge of meltdown
It’s ok, she can console herself by being the new World Number 1.
I don't know how the rankings work but I still feel Iga is the best female player and should be number 1.
I think Gauff is on a great run at the moment. She might be get to number 1 pretty soon if she continues the way she’s been playing.
Some people on this Tennis forum are already claiming Alcaraz is overrated and think he will decline in a few years and end up with loads of injuries. Some even said prime Murray is better than prime Alcaraz despite the fact Alcaraz isn't even in his prime yet
I thought my Tennis knowledge wasn't exactly amazing but some of those claims from those people is just ludicrous.
Before the last three Grand Slams (at least), I've been virtually certain that Swiatek would win it, and I only got the French Open right.
I'll still make her favourite for the Australian Open, but I won't be *quite* as confident.
As for tonight, I'm virtually certain that Djokovic will win it, but I hope I'm wrong
To me, Alcaraz looks like dominating the sport for years to come. He already seems to have a Djokovic-like hold over many of his nearest rivals, and he's only going to get better over the next few years.
Y is Alcatraz mot at finale?
Alcaraz lost the semi final to Medvedev. He didn't play too well against him but Medvedev was on good form.
Poor start from Medvedev.
Djokovic wins the opening set
