after watching Lagerbieke in a race with Stevie May on Saturday im convinced we need 2 centre backs !!

I was quite perturbed by that myself!!
Then when Scales got caught on the wrong side at least twice. I said to the lad next to me that he was getting caught out at least 5 seconds before the ball came through.
Feckin amateur hour.
Although I think if you have two young centre backs playing you have to put one in charge to make the big calls. He didn't do that. You could tell when they ran into each other in the second minute.

im far from convinced with him - as you say maybe he needs someone ushering him through the game but it was the fundamentals of his game that worry me not his understanding of how his teammates play

Kyogo's always had that trait , thats not on Rodgers
i actually think hes playing better now , too often he would be complete ghost under Ange but still score .
Im hating Rodgers but if you took CCV , Jota, AJ and Hatate out of Anges team i dont think the football would be too pretty

He might end up ruining Kyogo. I dont think Kyogo fits into what he wants from a striker at all. He wants to get him involved in the build up. I thikn he worls best when you isolate him form the team and use him to find the pocket of space he doesnt get picked up from during play to allow him to do what he wants till he needs to pounce. Rodgers seems to want him involved in the build up that takes away so many of his attributes

I think Kyogo is at his best when ghosting in at the front post but his lin up play has been excellent this season. Not his fault the advancing midfielders can't score.
When he is dropping deeper than all of the midfield I have an issue but his drop to drag a CB out then flick it on to O'Riley has been effective. When it is to flick to Turnbull or Holm then it hasn't been as effective
first time we played like that it worked well.
but we could end the weekend having 0 goals in 3 games.
i don't think it's working so we should sack the manager and bring in someone who know which direction our players should pass the ball, someone who isn't a whank would be swell.

all about opinions. I think he works best playing off the blindside of players. Almost deliberately not getting involved in the play to free himself up and be able to to target those areas such as the near post, breaking the offisde trap, sometimes just sitting off side to avoid being picked up etc. the total opposite of what Rodgers wants from him it seems.
Rodgers seems to want a focal point up top instead.

dunno? for a good 2 months we had one first CB fit I think then he got inured also. thre was games we had to play Lundstrum and Sands as CB !
