I wouldn't necessarily say Johnson will improve our team because he's a fast player who will largely be playing against a low block. Kulu is trickier so can craft space for himself. Johnson is so suited to the counter attack I can't quite see what Ange sees in him for this system. I guess that's why I'm on JA606 and why he's in charge
Bentacur, assuming he gets back to his best, will definitely be an improvement on Sarr or Skipp. We're very well stocked in that area now.
Mind you, if we lose Maddison and/or Bissouma, the whole house of cards comes crashing down.

True
I have bowed down to many tacticians who showed and demonstrated how Johnson suits the Angie ball, and compliments it. Suffice to say the end product is that it will be an all out attack on oppositions from our front players, with backup from the inverted full backs !
I think we should get Johnson in for the Arsenal game. Penned them down and make them make mistakes and give away fouls, specially that Gabriel.
With Son finding his comfortable place where he can maximise his finishing, and Solomon adding a touch of dribbling, we should be able to come away with huge possession numbers, and hopefully a few goals.

Sarr will probably take a back seat when Bentancur is back. But what a back up player to have!
The one question remaining is whether we can survive Sanchez leaving. We are paper thin in defense and losing one more, will hurt us imo
I do like it when you make a positive post mate
Sarr has been superb but is young so consistency is always the issue, so to have Bents back will be great. Such a classy player and will suit Ange's team a lot as he is 'press resistant' and passes the ball forward and quickly.
I feel the loss of Bisouma at any time would be mitigated by having an inform Bentancur in the team.
The options here are very good. It would be nice for one of the academy lot to step up as Maddison understudy. May be Davine is that guy?
He sees Johnson as a pest never giving the opposing team a moment of peace. Exactly what he wants, win the ball high up, attack with pace.
Even in a low block, mobility is key so Johnson will be that pest, on the move, pulling players around, drawing players towards him making space for others, as opposed to someone just hugging the wing or stood in the box waiting for delivery

With so much positivity around the club, the players and Ange, itis rubbing off on me too
Just having the prospect to improve the side even more is mouthwatering mate
The way we reacted to going behind is just refreshing and gives me so much more confidence tbh
I have to say Porro's 2 assist are right up there....Specially his second one. Used to love to setup players that way. Such a difficult technique while running play the ball on the patch of the player so he doesn't need to change anything. Sonny must have thought Xmas has come!
Suddenly our players have tekkers and started to believe in themselves.
I am sure we will make the top half of the table now...Eat your heart out Paul Merson
I am petrified of Romero or VDV picking up an injury, and imagine if they are both out, we will be forced to play Sanchez, Dier, an untried Phillips or emergency CB`s like Royal & Davies

Thankfully he's been proven wrong and Porro is doing well but Diamond can be forgiven for thinking Porro wouldn't work as a full back and questioning why we paid £40m for him. In hindsight it was good business but before the start of the season it wasn't clear cut.
