Anyone know the context for the Aussie surf club/burger joke?
The surf club is from Home and away.
The Salah-mon is the most life-like Pokémon. Captured him perfectly.

Living in Spain, I still don't get it. I take it that is some kind of TV?film reference?
Not many Squires fans, it seems.

Are you not British?
It's an Aussie soap opera. The surf club in it is a kiosk that has a burger shaped phone.

Cheers, I would never have got that reference. I'm UK-born to Spanish parents, and haven't lived there since 1980.
I do like Squires, the Hendo rainbow Pokémon is brilliant, but sometimes his in jokes I struggle with as I only follow him like once a month

Sorry, stumbled in there.
But I was gonna say, I’m nearly the opposite to ioag, I was born to British parents and have lived there since 1982.
And to mozzarella top this, I did watch Home and Away, quite religiously, as an early teen.
Still don’t know what you’re on about with the burger phone sh**
