There was a really good FourFourTwo YouTube video made after the Spain win which highlighted how we set-up now and just how effective it is in getting the best out of the players we have.

For me I would yes. Well, it's obvious it's the best in over 25 years or so. The main difference to the era of Dalglish Souness Jordan et al is mental toughness and genuine belief.

Could never understand how the afore mentioned players crumbled in finals particularly against the ' smaller' nations. Think this is where Steve Clarke is really effective also.

Just back from the pub … the joys of Scotland games only being on fecking ViaPlay. Anyone remember the last time we were 3-0 up inside half an hour, away from home, in a meaningful qualifier? Hats off to Clarke … even more so considering he’s getting these results with donkey options up top (no offence Che/Lyndon).
