Don't wanna sound so negative but I reckon it could be a bit of a drubbing. Bayern often get some big wins and they're only really missing Neuer tonight.

Just need to stay focused and not capitulate if we do let in a couple. Hopefully this is the sort of game that galvanises a player like Casemiro who's been pretty sh-t so far this season. Starting Eriksen might be suicide but the only other option is to play Bruno central which means one of Rashford, Garnacho or Pellistri on the right which I don't see EtH doing.

There's isn't an area in Bayern's side I don't worry about, their wide players against ours might be tough to watch.

In 33 years of following the club I have never gone into a CL group game less confident of us getting a result as I do tonight.

4-0 or 4-1 it will be a beating and a big one but we’ve prepared ourselves for it since the weekend so the pain won’t be as bad as getting spanked at home by Brighton.

Our record away from home against any half decent team is abysmal so expecting more of the same but you just never know so am allowing a modicum of hope.

Agree however on the system and gameplan, also so many of the teams I've watched so far just seem fitter, stronger and more athletic?

The general consensus and it has been for some time is that Bayern will comfortably win this one.

I found Saturday quite funny when one of our numbnuts listed his expected team and then said we would win.

Bayern are better than us in almost every position on the field VC. You're right there's absolutely no shame losing in Munich.

Burnley game is the biggest game this week. If we don't win that one the pressure on Erik will massively ramp up.
