Morning GG..... welcome back ! Hope you are doing, OK ?

Re a possible takeover, given the environment we live in at present I suspect its inevitable. The simple truth is without major investment and major increase in spend on players Spurs simply won't be able to compete. with that said there is something very positive going on at Spurs at the moment and personally i think it's something that that should be seen as healthy for all Spurs fans given where the club has been for the past few seasons.

The narrative around the club and around Ange in particular is new, refreshing and honest and I think a pride has been rediscovered in our fan base.

I have been one of Levy's biggest critics (& rightly so for a number of poor decisions he's made in the past few years) BUT you now have to be fair and give the credit and a reasonable degree of support when he has finally got the club moving in the right direction.

Like you I would prefer to back Levy for the next couple of years without simply jumping in the direction of dirty oil money at the first opportunity.

There were some very insightful things said at the Forum the other night that make me want to get behind the structure that Levy has put in place. I think the way Ange handles himself speaks for himself but for Levy to be honest, open and actually make decisions that back up what he's saying gave me a new found respect for the guy.

Of course, he's far from perfect and it could all go tlts up but there FINALLY appears to be some joined up thinking, a clear direction, a manager that understands the restrictions we have as a club and both manager and owner now seemed aligned in taking responsibility for moving us in the right direction.

I love that Ange has said he doesn't want to win a trophy just for the sake of it. He's said he wants to build something that can be organically successful.... I'll take that over a league cup win and then nothing for another decade, especially if the football is good & you we can see a clear strategy in place.

I hope the negative noise can die down for a while, we can all just enjoy what's in front of us and see where it goes.....I've got my love for the club back (in a much shorter time than I would have expected) and that's something Oil money cant buy.

Thanks Diamondlights…………totally agree with everything you have just said. Fingers crossed that we move forward with Ange but don’t panic if something goes wrong too.👍

Doesn't want to win a trophy “just for the sake of it” ??

What does that even mean? Sounds like excuses/loser talk.

Thanks Mighty Tottenham, it’s good to be back although I now know that certain things in life are irrelevant and we should do two things in life.
1) Live for today
2) Cherish those close to us as we never know what tomorrow brings🤔

Levy has said he has no interest in leaving Spurs or selling the club, but has a duty to consider any offers etc.

Levy is going nowhere, it will take a eye watering offer for him to sell the club.

Levy also reckons all these extra events held at the stadium generate £20m to £30m of extra revenue per season, but I wouldn`t be surprised if it is considerably more and Levy just plays it down so he doesn`t have to spend it.

Levy out.
