Not overly confident if we get Lampard in...however, if we do, would like to think, as he did at both Derby and Chelsea...that he will bring young players through and give them a chance

He was rotten at Everton.....more than just the manager fcking things up there though

it fckin better not be Lampard ... honestly gtf with that idea.

Muscat - no
Clement - defo yes
Jansen - unsure

My outside pick is Marek Papszun who is doing an amazing job in Poland
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That Zukowski kid that played rb for our b team is starting as a left winger for the team top of the Polish league!

Given how sheite we are, whoever it is will hopefully give youth a chance.

yeah heard that but he is also getting slaughtered for being so poor !! despite his team doing really well

Which one was playing CF?

The hope with Lampard is that he's been harshly judged because Chelsea and Everton were absolute shambles when he was there, and that a well run club he should do a lot better. The problem is that our board are kidding themselves if they think we're a well run club.

Just seen Frank lampard at work.

He just nodded his head and said WATP.

Looks like it's true

IF it is lampard, that is the very definition of risk imo.

i have no idea why anyone would rate that appointment.

might prove us wrong, but it seems like reckless decision.

Who knows maybe lampard has been unlucky with 2 basket case clubs.

I think it's very risky tbh. We have had too many risky / project managers. Need someone to steady the ship

I'd be slightly concerned if they appoint Lampard. Take the Chelsea stuff out of it because you just need to look at how other top managers have done there.

He did a great job at Derby. The worry is that if he can do it under tight budgets there then maybe he can transfer that to Rangers.

Plus I like the guy, I don't want to have to dislike him now. I threw away a Steven Gerrard autobiography many years ago

SPR

i downloaded CM 03/04 - hibs manager and won the league my first 3 seasons.

third season celtic were in 8th and i'd be waiting on them sacking o'neil so i could save the day, got to about february and they still hadn;t so i was like "can't have this" - added new manager for celtic and immediately retired.

then i, the hibs manager who took them to 3 league titles, 3 league cup, 2 scottish cups, and the quarter finals of the champions league twice, applied to save the day.

f...ing idiots rehired O'Neil

He had an Asian CL game yesterday (which he won).

I still think Muscat is who they want. Lampard might be Bisgrove’s choice from a marketing POV?! I just think what he’ll want in salary, what his backroom staff would be and wages, plus what he would expect as a budget would make it too much of a risk.
