I'm thinking of this as a must win game. CP are one of our rivals in the mid-table six mini-league and we have to show them we are the better team, and also prove to ourselves we can win away in the Prem this season.
As well as Eze and Olise, Palace are also without Edouard I believe, Ayew expected to start. They have lost most of their creativity and we are strong at the back so I'll be disappointed if we concede today.
Time we stopped playing five at the back away from home and had a settled back four for all games. I'd give Turner another chance, and also keep Toff at LB given his display in the second half last week although I think Vlachodimos and Aina will be first choice in those positions eventually.
Turner
Aurier Boly Murillo Toffolo
Mangala Sangare Dominguez
CHO Awoniyi MGW
Palace 0 Forest 2
Toff starts. Wood in for Awoniyi. Good enough.
Edouard does in fact start forPalace.
Not sure what to make of the line up. Looks like we are setting out not to lose rather than to win.
So close from MGW. Starting to play well
Wow, are we playing well or what?

Who is the team I'm watching. Attacking, passing, dominating possession.
What a run from Murillo!!!
Played very well in the first half. I’m pleased with the way we’re dominating possession in these past two matches, much improved from last season. Probably deserve to be ahead.
3 incredible goals we almost had. Murillo probably would have had goal of the season
Our level has dropped this half.
Coops, get Wood off. He is a fecking carthorse. Done nothing at all.
Good performance, didn’t get the goal(s) we probably deserved but the team is improving. Happy enough
Definitely looking a lot better than last season on the road
Whilst there is no such thing as a bad point, that really should have been 3.
I get the feeling if we had played til midnight we wouldn’t have scored, possibly the only facet of our game that was missing today.
We huffed and puffed, but just didn’t have that little bit of quality to take all 3 points, and with Taiwo being out for about a month, it’s a bit of a worry.
The performance was quite refreshing, possibly the best over a whole match we’ve seen this season, not forgetting Palace don’t very often fail to score in a home, but they probably only had a couple of really threatening efforts, compared to our handful.
The main thing to take from todays game is the fact the players are starting to understand each others game, which was always going to take time.
It’s unusual to be disappointed with a point away from home, but that’s how I feel at the moment.
Interested to hear what Cooper has to say, I’m sure he’ll be pleased, but maybe also a little disappointed also.
General consensus which I agree with is that we played well but lacked a real goal threat. Wood didn’t threaten at all.
Give Origi the starting place next week, can’t be any worse.. After that Esapa Osong is the next man up.
Murillo MOTM - What a find.
I must admit, I wasn’t part of the Wood bandwagon after he scored his second goal in a Forest shirt. It’s like we’re playing with ten men.
With Awoniyi out we have to start Origi or Elanga up front. Elango’s touch was awful today. Maybe even Danilo when he is fit, he certainly can finish.
Spoiler alert on the Special Mention! Has to be Murillo for that run! Dominguez not far behind him.
Happy with a point, glad to see us gelling, but we need firepower in January. I’d move Wood on and bring Guirassy in. A winger also.
According to the Random Pundit’s website, we still have £47.5m in the kitty for salary and wages.
See you in two weeks 👍🏼

Well worth a read!
Agree with your special mention, Murillo, but not just for that run, his defending and distribution we’re on another level.
The signing of Murillo, Sangare, and Dominguez in th summer have given us the look of a team that could challenge for a European place. Maybe not this season, but the way we are progressing next season is for sure.
