While at home too. No injuries to key players or unlucky moments in tournaments that we used to have in the past either. He has had more luck than the previous 5 managers combined.

He's had 3 cracks at it now and failed against the bigger teams in the crucial games each time. My worry is the clueless FA will have him at the helm still when we host the Euros in 2028 and squander another great opportunity.

Like some else mentioned here, the only reason boring Southgate got us that far into those comps is because how good the squad is, the players, and how easy the opponents were.
Yet, even with a great bunch of players, some of the best like Bellingham, Kane, Saka, Foden etc...we are playing negative footbal??

Any manager worth his salt should get a tune out that lot of players!

People who dont understand football say that, people who do will appreciate Hendo who has always been underrated for his ability, you watch clips of him you will see some outrageous goals and passes etc.

Now im not saying we need him or he should be in the squad, i personally wouldn't but i can see why he is. As for Southgate and the boo's, dno why he cant understand it and he'd be best just keeping his trap shut.

Southgates biggest praise is hes got a good atmosphere and relationship with his group a togetherness where before club rivalry caused issues in the national team. Outside of that Southgates brought absolutely nothing to the table.
