At this level the key factor is not making errors. There are very few match winners in any of the teams. Until we have technically better players you could have Pepsi Gladioli as manager and still struggle.

Yes because I am not certain that much of his success came from the skill of chemists. Pepsi failed a drucg test as a player but being in Spain at the time he was cleared.

It's me what started it.

Not for the first time it was impossible to tell what Warne's tactics were. What have they been working on for the last two weeks? Nasty scenes after the final whistle with fans and players arguing. The writing is on the wall once the fans start to turn.

Don't believe it changing - at least not this side of Christmas, but if we have to then let's get young Nigel back. Limited budget, backs to the wall, just the chap for the job.

There are a lot of conditions in that. Care to sit on the fence a bit more. I think like all fans, me included, we see ability in players once they pull on the shirt, that you wouldn't see were they in an another shirt.

He is right, they are trying their best but that best isn't good enough.

Fans may think their players are better than they are, as Spart says, but if you were to ask independent fans who they thought had the better players at their disposal, the manager of Derby or the managers of Shrewsbury and Cheltenham, I rthink you would get a consistent response. Both those teams seemed far better organised and with a clearer plan than we did. We seem to be getting close to the minimum potential out of this group of players. And it seems to be getting worse. I can't believe that the players themlseves are enjoying the way they are being asked to play - they certainly don't give the impression they are comfortable. Sibley on the right wing, Bird and Fornah in I don't know what positions in the first half, Collins isolated. Honestly it was hopeless today.

They're huffing and puffing to their best. We need to work smarter as well as harder though. N that's where I feel fans are starting to lose patience with Warne.

Our build up play is 1 dimensional and predictable. Substitutions and team selections seem perplexing. Even under Rosenior in that Barnsley game post Cocu, think he put Bird in defence. It was a shocker but you could still see what he was trying to do.

With Warne I think fans struggle to see what we're trying to achieve other than out-harrying a team. Which is fine if they're coming onto you and your shape matches theirs defensively. When that's not the case we're found wanting again and again and again.

There has been now

Belated Warne interview on DCFC site. Said we weren't clinical enough, goals change games, that we had enough chances to win the game and that nobody would have left the ground today thinking we were the second-best team.

Sorry mate, you may be kidding yourself there, but you're not kidding anybody else. And I know for a fact that your final comment is incorrect.
